Excellent pedals

I put these pedals on my road bike a few weeks ago to replace some other pedals with which I wasn't completely satisfied. [The others were made by a French company known more for their wheels than anything else; they've since abandoned the pedal market, at least in the US. The pedals were free to me, as they sponsored the club for which I rode. I am no longer affiliated with a club and not sponsored by anyone.] These function very similarly to some other brands, but have the advantage of a wider platform than many. The Ultegra pedals aren't quite as light as the Dura-Ace pedals, but they're not at all heavy. Very easy to clip in/out. Adjustable cleat position via bolt alignments when installing on shoes. Easily adjustable release tension. I simply have no complaints about these pedals. I highly recommend them to anyone putting in even semi-serious miles on a road bike.

Great power transfer

I bought these pedals to replace the Keo Classics that came with my bike. Well, actually to replace the vintage PD-6401 shimano pedals that I replaced the Keo Classics with ... back to the pedal ... great power transfer, lightweight ... made for a great 54 mile first test ride.

classic pedals with modern updates

I spent a lot of time going back and force on pedals for a new road bike build I was planning. At the end of the day I went with what’s tried and true… the pedals are easy to set up and work exceptionally well. They even look better than I expected. If you want pedals that are reliable, simple and look great , look no further.

Very Nice Pedals for a Road Bike

What's to say, these are great clip in pedals for SPD cleats. These pedals replaced a twenty-four year old set of alloy Ultegra pedals. The new pedals are light and very comfortable. I've found them to be slipperier than the old alloy pedals. Other than that the change over was seamless.

Great pedals, but...

Losing a star due to the LEFT pedal spindle nut coming loose on first ride, third ride, sixth ride, and 12th ride. Each time it was so loose I could turn it with my fingers, and internal grease was leaking. I torqued it to spec each time, but torquing higher now since it wasn't holding. Now, I check it before every ride, because if it totally backs out, I can be seriously hurt. It seems to be holding, but I still check it for every ride.

Easy to use and live with

I really like how easy it was to clip in and out after getting used to it. The pedal sits naturally straight up makes it very easy to "feel" the pedal to clip in

Bought these to replace my Peloton bike pedals; so much lighter and smoother, feels like the power transfer is better. Great quality!

Great purchase. Bought these to replace an old set of pedals. Have ridden about 50 miles and feel more stable on the bike with the wider foot platform

Really good pedals. Can’t go wrong with these Ultegra pedals. Loosened the tension some and just perfect. Easy to install and adjust.
