Love it.

Don't understand why some complained about this product. I roll it up loosely to store it between uses. It unrolls almost completely flat and good enough for a ride. Reverse rolling it flattens it out and a hair drier can be used to make it completely flat for those who care. Bottom line is the mat is perfect for what it is made for. The quality is excellent and the indentations left by the trainer and cleats have disappeared by the next session. I place it on top of gym mats that would otherwise be ripped to shreds by my Kickr and cleats and there are no indentations or signs of having trained on them at all after the Kickr May is removed.

Perfect for your pain cave

Good quality mat that works perfectly for your pain cave. It comes rolled pretty tightly. I used a few heavy books on the ends for a few days and it laid flat after that with no issues. Would definitely recommend.

It looks nice but it's a piece of rubber for $80

Not Bad- But expensive for what it is

The mat’s material is quite soft and feels high quality. The biggest issue I have is that it starts to bunch up during the ride to the point where my front gears start to rub on it- very frustrating. I was hoping there would be a built in anti slide layer on the mat for the price. Probably could have gotten a similar mat for cheaper but without the brand name on it.

It’s not my favorite mat…

This mat was defiantly designed to be put in a spot where it stays there. Unfortunately I don’t have the space to leave my kickr set up all the time so I have to roll up my mat when I’m done and store it. This mat does not like to roll or unroll! Also when it gets walked on with SPD-SL It leaves deformations in the mat that seem to be semipermanent. So far I can tell everywhere I’ve stepped on the mat with my cycling shoes on. Prior to having the kickr mat I had an Amazon basics workout mat that I might be switching back to… The kickr mat does seem to protect the carpet from sweat, so it’s got that going for it. I can’t say it’s any louder or quiter with the kickr mat, compared to my other mat.

Yoga mat for rich people.

What is the point of this thing? Buy a Yoga mat or some garage mats at the tool store. The do the same exact thing for 1/3 of the cost. This is why the cycling industry is so skewed.

So durable, well worth the cost

Initially I thought this looked a little on the expensive side for what was, presumably, just going to be a sheet of rubber. However, whilst it's great at protecting our polished wood floor from sweat and scratching, it's also remarkably durable. More than once I've got off the bike and pivoted round on my cleats then thought "agghhh, I bet I've ripped a chunk out of the mat" but I never have. There are always cleat and trainer "dents" in the surface after use, but they soon come out and the mat looks as good as new after every use, much to my amazement

Not worth $80

I bought this a while ago with a free gift card I received from REI. Just got around to using it because of the rain and today after getting off my bike I noticed 3 big tears in the mat (probably from my shoe cleat, even though I have separate shoes/new cleats for indoor) it worked good except for how fragile this is. The whole purpose is to use indoors so what good is it if I can't walk on it with my shoes?

Good mat but...

This mat works well for keeping your trainer in place even during the most vigorous rides. My mat does not lie flat on the end because it is permanently creased from when it was rolled for shipping, even with a bunch of weights on the end it always sticks up a little bit which creates a trip hazard. This mat is incredibly expensive for what it is, I basically paid an extra $30 to get a mat that is exactly the same as competitors except there is no chemical smell.

New mats not as well madd

I have three of these and this latest one isn’t as well made as the others. It feels slightly thinner and curls up at the edges.
