the description given is too generous.

I’m an entry level mountaineer, and I’ve got big eyes. So I bought this ice axe with the intention of it being a good all around ice axe for current (non technical) mountaineering, and also for future (potentially technical) mountaineering. Well, it’ll be awesome for technical mountaineering. For non technical it kinda sucked. Too small (55cm) for glissading. The finger guard/handle got in the way. Super well made tho. So, I returned it snd if I get into technics, mountaineering then I’ll consider purchasing it then.
