Drink On the Go
Bought this cap for work because I needed to be able to drink while mobile. The original rambler cap is excellent, but for athletes and active workers like myself, having the ability to flip the top and start drinking is great. Because the cap is not as sealed as the original cap, a little sweating will occur and you may notice that the temperature performance may dip ever so slightly. However these are reasonable for this cap and necessary to be able to drink quickly while moving. The cap fits perfectly on my 30oz rambler and I find that the angled handle is even better than the original cap. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Eliminates overflow
I recently purchased the straw lid and found that like many others that post the lid did pressure up and i also experienced a couple of overflows. I did take the rubber grommet completely out from the flip up lid and it eliminated the problem of overflow from the straw. It will not be spill proof if it tumbles you may loose a few drops of fluid but not bad. If you ever intend to use as a sport drink bottle simple insert the grommet back in it, and it will work like a champ for that purpose with no leakage. After figuring this out whether this was the way it was meant to be used or not, i have had zero issues and love the service i get from the product.

Awesome Top!
I bought my YETI Rambler and two tops in addition to the one it comes with. The "RAMBLER BOTTLE STRAW CAP" is AWESOME!! My bottle arrived July 19, 2019 (perfect timing) right before an outdoor wedding I was in - I filled up my bottle and cut my straw to the right length and took it to the 98 degree (outdoor) rehearsal that evening (I also had the bottle at the wedding the following day) - it was so hot, but my YETI made a HUGE difference. I love this top because it has a handle (great for carrying) and then it is easy to flip the straw up to drink and down to close. I have literally kept my YETI Ramber with my 24/7 since it arrived. My water is always cold and this is the only top I have used yet, it's so great I haven't even tried my "HOT SHOT CAP" yet (the HOT SHOT CAP is the one I intended to use - but I liked that this had a handle)!! Also - I love this bottle and top because it is completely sealed and doesn't leak when it tips over in the car etc. So great!! I take the bottle with me to work, CrossFit (which is hot an no AC), on outdoor adventures, to church and everywhere I go, I don't know how I stayed hydrated before this...oh wait... I didn't, I was always fatigued due to dehydration. This bottle was the best investment I've made in a LONG time... I love it so much and would HIGHLY recommend YETI Ramblers and the "YETI - RAMBLER BOTTLE STRAW CAP" to anyone!! I love my YETI - I intend to purchase another Rambler for my husband.
Good Alternative to the regular caps.
So I scooped up this cap as I was tired of screwing the lids on and off of my ramblers in the truck. The design is solidly built although the casting they used for the molding could have been cleaned up a bit. There are clear tooling marks that you can see in the handle. Due to the design of a flip top it leaks very slowly from the straw. You see this in most designs, it's hard to avoid and I was hoping that Yeti has solved this. Guess that's why it's marketed as "leak resistant" and not "leak proof." In addition you can also use the cap without the internal straw attached. Overall it's still a good cap if you need to quickly access your drink without removing the top. Just don't tip it over in your gear as your stuff will be all wet at the end of the day.
Functional
I bought this bottle top for a rambler 64 oz about a month ago and I’m glad I did. It is very functional much safer to use while driving and gives me quick access to the ramblers contents. Although, I found that the plastic it is made out of is somewhat soft and I have several gouges and scrapes in it now. For example please see the attached pictures. Finally, it is well designed easy to carry and use. Overall I am satisfied with your product. Thank you, Nick Pittarelli
Rambler straw lid review
Love this bottle cap!! I bought this for my 64oz Rambler water bottle. I've had the jug for a while with the chug cap with handle and I loved it!! I have to have a lid with a handle for this bottle so I didn't try any of the others, but man this straw lid is awesome!! I can still carry it easy and the flip spout makes drinking waaaayyyyy easier and waaaaayyyyyy more satisfying!! Price point is great also. I will be purchasing a couple more for my other bottles.

I bought the strong Cap for my yeti Rambler 36 oz. I bought it because sometimes in my line of work it's easier to flip up a straw with a thumb Then it is to untwist a lid. I couldn't be more satisfied with all of my yeti products that I own. Everything from my Tundra 45 that keeps my water & beer Ice cold during a long day of work, to my 20 ounce coffee cup that gets me going every morning, to my OD GREEN Colster that keeps my beer frosty at family bbq's ( all the men in the family now own a Colster personalized with their names). keep up the amazing work making everyday items the better than the best.
Well thought out and sturdy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This straw cap works just as it should. There is a handy template on the packaging for cutting the straw to the correct length. It all assembled easily, and stays put together. The carry handle is strong and convenient for carrying, but out of the way while drinking. The straw flows a good amount of liquid and stays firmly in whatever position it’s put. It is substantial, without overwhelming the bottle. A good buy.
