My dog loves these more than me!
I bought these just before another cold front hit Minneapolis so that I could walk my newly adopted pup, Gracie. I can jump out of bed, slip into these, add the Omni-Heat coat, and walk the dog in sub-zero hades. We also look good at the coffee shop! So I'm not snowboarding or whatever in these but daily walks with the dog is extreme winter sports in my book, so thanks!

comfy and roomy
I'm 5'4" and I went off the size comparison and ordered accordingly but when I tried them on I had a pair of leggings on and the Large felt really roomy and had a lot of gapping in the crotch. I have Full thighs and rear-end and normally would fit into a Large just right, it is a rare occasion when I would find myself fitting into a Medium. In this case because of the gaping I want to try the Medium and see if it fits, this Large pair will be going back.

Nice fitting pants & Comfortable

I've only gotten to wear these once, but they were very comfortable and easy to move in. The length is good (other brands too long), as is the fit at the waist. I have these in size Small. I'm 5'4" and 112 lbs and my waist measurement seems large based on size charts. Other brands of snow pants in my size were too fitted at the waist and overall to allow me to wear other layers underneath, and going a size up made the overall fit way too big. It seemed those others were only for fashionable style, but not practicality or longevity. These allow for layering that fits easily and comfortably, while still being a nice looking snow pant. The bottom leg inner layer with elastic is also fitted well. I haven't gotten to fully test them out, but they seem really comfortable, especially compared to others I tried.

Fits well

I’m 5’6” about 175 lbs. The Large fit well. I tried a few other brands and they felt like they were too low cut. This fit perfect at my waist. The only downside is that I’m not a fan of the feel of the Omni heat material directly on my skin. But I usually wear tights under my ski pants.

Women's pants never fit right.

Finally remembering why I always buy mens snowpants. Women's snowpants (of pretty much any brand) are never big enough in the thigh area, despite being intended to wear OVER clothes that somehow ARE magically cut big enough. These are no exception. Totally fine in every area except the thigh.

Too warm for Winter sport

The pant need a vent for winter sport. It is super warm insulated pant and keeps my leg sweating when performing sports. It lacks of a vent to control the thermostat. otherwise, everything else of this pant is perfect.

Warm and waterproof

I wore these pants on a four-hour glacier hike through pouring rain in 33-34 degree temperatures and was the only one not complaining about the cold and wet at the end of the hike. In fact, I added on a two-hour hike through the same conditions and was still comfortable. No leaks, no chills. I like that the waist is adjustable and the pants have zippered pockets. I always wear a base layer under snow pants; if you don't, then maybe the insulation against your skin would feel a little weird, but I don't think it'd be a problem.

Great pant but reg length is way long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these in the dusty purple and it’s a beautiful color. I wish it had the shorter leg available because the regular leg is way longer than the fit dimensions indicate and so much so that I have to decide if I keep them and try to alter the length or return them. I have a dusty purple jacket so it’s a hard choice to make. The rest of the fit is true to size. The Omni heat layer seems very warm and it has an inner powder cuff to keep snow out well. Really a nice pant if you are tall.

Too small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product did not come as dark as I had thought, since I had purchased the "black" pants. They also flared out on the bottom a lot more than pictured. The pants were extremely small, even though most other Columbia I wear I am a medium, and I even measured myself to be safe. If you like slimmer snowpants like I do, these are not for you. They are like bell bottoms. They seem like great quality elsewhere, and I love the adjustments and pockets.
