More inconsistent sizing from Patagonia
Overall it's good quality like the 1/4 zip. This version is thinner (you can see light through it) for a lighter sweater for days where you don't need the bulk or extra heat of it's bigger brother. However, as I've encountered with other Patagonia products, the sizing is like playing the lottery. I'm an XXL, so if something is too small I can't just try a size up, so I'm a bit sensitive to this issue. The 1/4 Zip is what Patagonia calls a "Regular" cut. I wear an XXL comfortably. This is also supposed to be the same regular cut, and being just the lighter weight version of that sweater I would have expected it to fit the same. NOPE, it was considerably smaller.

Gave this pullover as a Christmas gift to our grandson and he loved it and it looked great when he wore it. Great quality and fit.
too hot
I'm 6' 3 1/2" and 213 pounds. I ordered and received size XXL. I returned it because I immediately realized that, because it is 100% polyester, it doesn't breathe. thus, it would be too hot. note: it would be great in cold weather. the issue isn't how heavy it is. the issue is this: it's 100% polyester and, thus, it doesn't breathe. your body heat is retained within.
