Perfect for anchors

This cord comes in (as you know) a 30ft bundle. Why is this perfect you ask? Well I'll tell you! With 30' of this robust 7mm cord, you can make a 10' and a 20' loop. This is perfect for top rope and trad anchors! A 10' loop for two piece (top of, say, a sport route) anchors and a 20' for three- and four-piece anchors. I've also successfully used this to build an anchor for a slackline off of cams. (Although a thicker rope would be ideal if this is what you're making). It holds knots well and withstands abrasion. A great choice for your basic climbing anchor needs.

Excellent accessory cord with multiple uses.

I purchased this cord to use for the front and rear tie downs for my kayak roof rack system I purchased this accessory cord to use with Seattle Sports Quick Loops for front and rear tie downs for my kayak roof rack system. The cord is very strong and yet pliable. Easy to tie and untie knots with. All blueWater rope and cords are of very good quality at a lower price than some other name brands

Bomber for Building Anchors

Absolutely bomber material and perfect thickness for building a trad anchor, or an anchor for setting up a top rope anchor. the 7mm thickness is a little harder to get tied up into the "quad" than 6mm, but this stuff is never going to wear out if you're being careful about how you treat your gear. Also, the Bluewater ropes have a little bit more tensile strength if that makes you feel good!

It’s great!

30ft is an awesome length for $13. I used 20ft making a pre-tied quad, and the remainder for random stuff like a prussik and whatnot. Some guy said he broke his spine while using it as a prussik? I’m not sure I believe he was using it correctly, or maybe he was using it on a twin rope, because although stiff, it still works just fine with enough wraps (I use 9.5mm rope).

Variety of uses

This product is good for setting up top rope anchor with the quad anchor method. I did cut this down to make a prussic out of this rope and also reduce the length that the anchor would end up at. The prussic I made from this rope works fine on a double strand of climbing rope but not good on a single strand of rope. I would recommend a thinner cord for a prussic if planning to repel on a single strand. I did end up buying a second 30ft cord to lengthen the one I cut for when top rope bolts are very far behind the ledge.

Great for top rope anchors!

Great for top rope anchors! Sometimes gets kinked after being racked on a harness for too long due to the length of it, but not hard to fix. It's also very good for the price it's at, I recommend this to anyone trying to build quick top rope anchors.

Quad anchor

Perfect for a quad anchor. 30 feet was way to long for a quad so I cut 10ft off and used that as a gear sling. Versatile cord

Solid cord

Bought to use as a cordalette and for setting top rope anchors. Straight out of the pack it was a little stiff but it gets better with a bit of use. Knots well, I'd definitely recommend.
