Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super easy way to transport bikes This pickup pad is great! I've only transported 3 bikes so far, but it would definitely fit 5 comfortably. It fits pretty well with newer model trucks that have the backup cameras mounted in the center of the tailgate (rather than higher up like older models). Of course, if you load the center of the pad up with bikes where the opening is, then the bikes obstruct your camera view quite a bit, but I can still see through the wheels and spokes whether or not I'm running over something. When I first put it on my truck, it was a bit stiff, but as long as you re-adjust and cinch it down, it fits pretty well. It will break in and get more malleable as time goes on though. My only complaint is that it's $40 more than the old pickup pad version, which seems like of extra dough for only having a slightly larger opening for the camera and an anti-theft grommet in one corner, which if someone really wanted to steal your pad, all they would have to do is slash off the corner (it has thinner material) and take it. But I suppose it could certainly deter lazy thieves when it's locked into a D-ring in the truck bed.
