Great wet lube
So I am the bike mechanic for all my friends and family and I have a lot of people you know the type who just don’t lube there chain ever and this stuff is great to put on there bike because it’s near impossible to get off without heavy duty degreaser. As for my own personal use I used it for about a week it’s spring in California and the dirt is damp and full of mud here. So I tested it on my local trail with 9 river crossings and it stuck and it did great and! There is little debris build up so I could of wiped the chain clean and kept using it but I read another review complaining about getting it off so I cleaned my bike and yea it was no joke I had to let the chain soak in WD-40 then use dawn then another round of WD40 bike degreaser so if you switch between wet and dry lubes this is not it but if your in the most fowl conditions or you need something that will stick on your chain like glue this is the stuff.

Good luck getting this off your bike
This is almost too effective to the point where it’s very difficult to get off the components. Don’t use too much.

Works to perfection

I bought this lube for my bike to help protect it against the water and dirt of Minnesota springs. It has been amazing so far. Would recommend

Turns into Muc

After a two rides this turned into a tar like substance that was very difficult to remove. Took an hour of scrubbing and an entire can of degreaser. Recommend you steer clear of this wet lube. I chucked it.

Gets sticky and collects dirt, hard to clean

This is probably the worst lube we've used. We were very careful to NOT use too much of this lube. Still, the chains and cassettes on the 3 bikes we used this on got nasty once we went out and rode. All the dirt from the road seems to have stuck to the lube and made it sticky and extremely hard to clean from the components. I will definitely NOT purchase this again. Pro: applicator is nice

Lubricant leaves a sticky black residue

I have used Muc-Off Dry lube for years. Love it. I tried Muc-Off's wet lubricant this January. This lubricant leaves a black sticky residue on everything it comes in contact with. It is very difficult to clean off the freewheel cassette, derailleur sprockets, chainring and especially the chain. On my last ride, I noticed the shifting getting worse. What was happening is the black lubricant became sticky after about 100 miles of bike. Unless you only ride in rain, snow and slush I would not recommend this product. It is just too difficult to clean your drivetrain. Love the bottle and their dry lube and tubeless valves. I am an avid biker in Minnesota and ride about 6000 miles a year. I clean my chain after every ride and lube the chain about every 500 miles or sooner if needed.

all things considered not a total disaster

purchased this lube because it appeared to include an applicator cap that would make it easier to apply chain lube, bottle arrived with cap cut almost completely off. scented chain lube hmmm......not sure how important that is. appears to do what it is claimed to do. wait 3-4 hours after applying? overall a bit disappointed, hesitate to blame mucoff for this, more inclined to blame the shipping company, will probably try other mucoff products in the future but thru which retailer?

gunks your chain up

Literally the worst chain lube I have ever used. Mucoff coats your chain with a nasty mess of grease. White lightening, and triflo are superior.

Pretty good lube

Works well, but I’ve noticed it does gunk up a little bit quicker than other wet lubes I’ve used. Overall pretty good.
