Wonderful pack at an awesome price.

Great pack IMO for those looking to lighten their load but not their wallets. Has many of the features of my Ausprey Aether 70, but simplified. It has three pockets on the removable hood, which helps keep my miscillaneous essentials organized. I'm a big fan of the adjustable hip belt and extra large pockets. I keep a headlamp, flashlight and spare batteries in one quite easily. The only drawback so far, there's something about the shoulder straps that aren't 100% comfortable for me. Not bad, but not just right, either. I'll keep adjusting. Overall I'm very pleased with this pack and I expect it to be a formidable workhorse as an intermediary pack between my 22 l day pack and my 70 l behemoth.

Extremely comfortable

I switched from a 38 liter granite gear to this pack and my only complaint is I didn't do it sooner! I use this pack as a day pack however it's not uncommon for a day hike to last 8-14 hours so a lot of supplies (water, food, stove, medical and clothing) are required. I normally have a good bit of room left. However I brought this pack for the comfort level for than any other reason! Comfortable waist belt even for bigger guys, nice wide and thick should straps and great back ventilation

The best backpack that I have ever had!

I was always looking for a backpack with long enough hip belt that not only seats on the sides of my hips but actually wraps with its cushion part around my belly. This gives me much better support and make hike pleasurable. All pockets and compartments located very conveniently. It is lightweight, very slick design, black without any fluorescent stripes - exactly what I wanted - no more, no less.

Great overnight pack.

Just returned from 10-day trip to Sequoia, Yosemite, and Big Sur. Love this pack! So glad I got something bigger than I originally wanted (better daypack). This allowed my group to change plans do do an overnight in Little Yosemite Valley, and attack Half Dome the next day from there. Without the capacity of this very light and comfortable pack, we would not have been able to pack the tent and supplies needed for an overnight.

Works perfect for weekend excursions

For the price this is an excellent pack. I don't like that the waiter bottle pockets on the side aren't elastic but they do work. Works great for 1-2 night trips. Ive taken it on 4 trips so far and I've had no serious issues with it.
