Worth every penny!
This card, expensive as it is, is worth every penny. The amount of data shown on my Garmin 66i is incredible.
24k map overly expensive for what it contains
Trails and sites on the 24k Topo map appear limited to USGS and does not include BLM land. If you create routes for BLM trails, you need to disable the 24k map on the GPS so the GPS will show other trails in the vicinity of your route. When creating routes in Basecamp for Yosemite, I find myself switching between the 24k and the TopoActive America map that comes preinstalled. I will keep it, but if I only had $100 to spend it would not be on the 24k map.
Finicky but fantastic
Despite being what I'd consider a bit pricey, this product is worth it to bring out the full potential of the 67i. However, I feel like I need to note that it's not without it's quirks. For some reason when you navigate a course (route) it seems to change the location of trails (even major ones such as the Wonderland). For this reason I need to remember to turn off the map overlay when I'm navigating a route which is a bit cumbersome. But since it provides vastly more detailed contour lines that can be heavily zoomed in on it makes the gps unit much more useful overall.
The perfect compliment to the Garmin GPSMAP 66i
This is the perfect addition to the Garmin GPSMAP 66i - it brings all maps to 24K level resident on the device making a perfect combination.
