Stretchy = Fitted = Awesome

I'm 5' 8" and around 125lbs, I bought the XS and it fit perfectly. I have a bit broader shoulders and a bigger bust than usually fits in an XS but this jacket fit like a glove. It is long enough that it goes over my booty so that when it repels water it falls off to the ground and not onto my pants. I do have a shorter torso though! Have used for hiking, backpacking, camping, and rainy days around town. In the picture I am wearing a base layer and my Ghost Whisperer down jacket under this jacket. Because my hands are in the pockets the jacket pulling it forward it looks much tighter than it usually is. Love how light and stretchy it is while still remaining totally waterproof!

Excellent jacket see review

I did tons of research before I purchased this jacket. For all of the best selling, top rated jackets $200 and under people complained about the inside lining shedding, the jacket losing it's water repellency within a year, the jacket leaked around the seams... or the jacket sounded like a plastic bag. $200 was my pain point and I ended up getting this on sale! With all of the reviews I read about this jacket there were no complaints about its short life and it got a really good review from outdoorgearlab. On the size, most seemed to think it runs large. I'm 5'9", 140 pounds. I typically wear a medium (jackets and women's clothing in general aren't consistent). The medium fit fine over a tee-shirt, but if I added another layer I looked like I was stuffed in it. So I ordered the large. I really need a medium and 1/2 but I would rather have it roomy than too tight. The sleeves are nice and long and adjustable, along with the bottom of the jacket and hood. The pockets are plenty deep. The jacket is nice and lightweight and can be stuffed in its own pocket. You ladies that are well-endowed will appreciate this jacket as there is lots of room in the bust area. The one thing I would ding on the jacket is the pit zips are useless because they are placed under the arm and not the pits.

Fully functional & perfectly packable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this jacket up in preparation for a week in Kauai, as well as gearing up for backpacking season. I chose it for its light weight and breathability, since Kauai would be warm but wet. It held up great and was perfect to toss in my day bag for adventures around the island and the sporadic downpours that can come from nowhere! I look forward to trail testing this summer on weekend backpacking trips. The lightness and packability is a perfect for me, as I don't want to carry a lot of weight and don't plan to go out in extreme weather, but want a little protection just in case. This jacket is an excellent option, and I'm glad I chose it!

Good light jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket more for light rainwear and have had it for over a year now, close to a year and a half. I love the way it fits, I got it in black and it goes well with any jeans. When I first got it the jacket seemed to do pretty well at keeping out the rain, but as I have continued to wear it 3-4 times weekly I've noticed that in heavy rain the rain tends to seep through the jacket instead of rolling off of it. I still love the jacket and wear it often on brisk days as a lightweight jacket and it does wonderfully for that. Ultimately it has been replaced by a heavier duty rain jacket for rainy days though.

So far, pretty darn good

I want to love this jacket as much as I did when I first put it on, but I took it out for a serious test drive on a wild stormy day on a beach in Maine. Most of me came back dry, but the front of the vest I wore under my jacket was wet. I can't tell if it was from water dripping in from above or from the zipper failing to keep water out. This jacket looks great. It's super light and packable. The fabric is amazingly comfortable. The hood works really well. And it was quiet and protective on a very windy day up on the ridge near Katahdin. I'm still hopeful on a typical day when I'm not playing in the open on a windy, rainy day, it will perform as it should and keep me 100% dry.

Amazing fabric; fits loosely (room for layers)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to pay this much for a rain jacket but do not regret it! The fabric is amazing - as comfortable and "soft" as a waterproof jacket can be - not "crunchy/stiff" like most rain shells. I got a medium but based on my waist and hip measurements was on the fence between medium and large -- definitely glad I went medium bc even that fits loosely. I thought about returning for a small but that would be pretty fitted with a fleece layered under it, so I kept the medium. (For reference: 5'6" and 133; bust 34" (so jacket was boxy on top but not the fault of the product!); waist/hips about 30/40".)

Amazing Rain Jacket!

I could not be happier with the Stretch Ozonic Jacket in Dynasty. The Dynasty is a sharp looking Cobalt blue with slightly softer touches making it look clean cut but not obnoxiously loud. The spiffy 40D face fabric allowed me stuff it into my daypack for a week long trip, yet pull it out on day 8 without a single wrinkle allowing me to look great on the town! Score!! Being 5'10 with broad shoulders and a smaller waist I ordered a Large and I'm very pleased to report that it fits great over layers, is not to baggy in the body while fitting my shoulders and looks slim without layers, how is all of this possible in one jacket!? Thank You Mountain Hardware for making a product I can use everywhere.

Jacket performs and looks great!

Bought the Ozonic with the Thermostatic puffy for hiking and city layering. Got the raspberry which is surprisingly cute and even a little subtle. Took it to the Canadian Rockies for 2 weeks of hiking. First day turned a corner on a 5 hour hike and hit sheets of sleet. Warm and waterproof thru 2 hours of this attack. Yesterday went scrambling up a windy mountain and I got scared so did a lot of rock hugging. Not a mark on this jacket. Highly recommend. On sizing - many brands inflate their sizes but Mt Hardware doesn't. For example I am a small in Eddie Bauer, Medium in Mt. Hardware.

Look no further

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. I think this might be the first review I've ever written; I love this jacket so much that I felt so compelled to leave a glowing review. I've worn this jacket a quite a few times now, and most recently on a long 8 mile hike in Washington, where it rained the ENTIRE time. After those 8 long miles, in the pouring rain I was still dry as can be! (which also helped keep me warm) This jacket is so light you almost don't know you are wearing, so it definitely won't slow you down. Not only does it keep you dry and is light weight, the material is great! Its not like many rubbery rain jackets that make you feel like you're wearing saran wrap, its super flexible. Overall, the best rain jacket I've ever used (and trust me, I spend a lot of time outdoors)

Disappointed/Ended up wet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is super lightweight and moves well. However, I went on a kayaking trip for 2-3 hours in the rain and ended up wet in multiple spots (shoulders, forearms, front of jacket). I've also worn the jacket when I've ridden my bike to work for 4 miles in a light to moderate rain, and it's about 50/50 on whether or not water will start to seep through onto the shirt I have on underneath. The jacket moves really well and is compact, but if you're looking for something to stay dry in I wouldn't recommend it.
