Was sold a returned item with parts missing
Received item quickly but realized it’s a previously returned item with parts missing. Since REI doesn’t indicate if an item is previously returned and it’s sold as new, buy at your own risk and be prepared to make a trip to the store to return.
Hard to get a hold of customer service, fruitless.
I have been running these forsaken posts out of the box since the original external cable routed post. When they work, which is not long, it does it’s job. Two versions later; planned obsolescence seems to plague their engineering team. I wouldn’t buy the current or the next generation. Go with something that isn’t disposable. Go figure REI won’t carry them.
