Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Boots After wearing these for a couple days, I can really only complain about the laces constantly coming untied. This is the same issue that most all shoes have though, I had higher expectations from Salomon given their kevlar lacing system on their running shoes. Otherwise, they are comfortable, warm, very grippy and were reasonably priced (though I found them 30% lower priced online after buying)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great winter hiking boots I hike 700+ miles a year, in all seasons. In the winter, when there's not enough snow for snowshoeing, I need good waterproof and insulated boots and these fit the bill. Comfortable, rugged, warm and dry. Not sure I can ask for much more. I took one star off since they are more stiff than I would like, even after multiple wearings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and warm down to 0! I wore these on a 2 night trip to the Allegheny National Forest. Temperatures got to -2F and had ~2 inches of snow. With a good pair of wool socks, my feet were comfortable and had no problem hiking all day in them. Highly recommended.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great looking but..... I bought my normal size only to return them shortly thereafter because they were too small after walking around for a couple of days. Bought a half size bigger and fit was perfect. After wearing them for about a week I heard a squeaking noise while I walked. It was the fabric in the boot making this weird noise when it flexed while taking a step. It was coming from both boots. It didn't go away. I returned the boots to REI without any problems. Great looking winter boot, I expected better quality from Salomon. Wish they didn't squeak.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and waterproof I bought this last week and took it snow skating at lake tahoe. I was surprised at how comfortable it felt even brand new. Wore it all weekend and skated with without any issues. Socks and feet stayed dry and warm the whole time.
