Disappointing quality
Love the fit and warmth, but extremely disappointed with the quality. I’ve only worn this jacket for one week and noticed feathers coming out everywhere. Will be returning this for something sturdier.
Disappointed
I bought this jacket two weeks ago and although it’s extremely warm and a cute design, the fit is slightly smaller than my other size large Marmot, but not horrible. I’m disappointed in the overall quality. Marmot is known for its great quality in outward, I own another Marmot jacket that is amazing. This one has seams coming undone and it constantly has feathers falling out. My other down jacket has a random feather fall out, but nothing compares to this one. I would submit a photo but don’t see that option. I will be contacting Marmot to see if they will offer me another option or jacket or will return to REI. Will update review if REI allows.
Warm and durable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this jacket from trips in the sierras in the summertime to winter backbacking trips and it keeps me warm when the temps drop! The hood is roomy and I love the fleece lined pockets to keep me or my gear warm while wearing. Super comfy and one of my go to's for a multitude of trips. I got this jacket on sale which made the value of it that much better!

Don’t buy until they fix stitching issues
While the jacket looks nice, there is a manufacturing defect with the stitching across the entire jacket. Starting on day one, feathers would creep out from all of the stitching. We had hoped that it would stop but even after a couple weeks of wear there is no end in sight. There’s now feathers stuck to everything the jacket comes in contact with: the couch, the car seat, scarves... Do not buy.
Amazing Jacket
I love this jacket! I have had it about a year and I wear it all the time. Its really breathable and somehow works great no matter what the temperature is. I have worn it winter camping and at summer camping, backpacking, snowboarding, hiking etc. I don't wear it rock climbing because the rock is too abrasive for me to risk ruining it, but I will wear it for belaying. I love the drawstring at the bottom, and the hood. The hood fits great over my helmets and is super warm. There is fleece in the pockets and at the top of the zipper where it rubs by your face which is a really nice plus. The jacket does leak some feathers, but not too much so be careful wearing fleece under it. And I highly suggest dark colors if you are going to be using your jacket for outdoor activities. The pretty colors get dirty fast. However I washed it with Nikwax down wash and a front load washing machine and it came out good as new! Don't be scared to wash your down! I have no complaints. Like I said, it keeps me the perfect amount of warm for both summer nights and winter nights, it blows my mind! And the fit and shape look great! I am 5'6", 120 lbs, I got the M. Great for layering, a little big if I were to use it as just a bumming around coat. But I just pull the bottom drawstring when the wind starts to blow and it keeps all the warm inside.
Stylish and warm hooded down jacket
This jacket is very light but keeps me warm on cold days. It's very stylish and the late night color is just like in the picture. I wore it only 3-4 times so far. It seems to be well made and no feather/down came through the seams anywhere. Pockets are very deep which is handy. It fits true to size. My only complaint is that the velcro at the cuff can catch and damage my scarves, gloves or knitted beanies if I am not super careful.
Beautiful!! :)
I was a bit skeptical on purchasing this jacket as most of the reviews had concerns on the feathers coming out too quickly and the fabric not being strong enough for active people. I went ahead and purchased it anyway as I loved the color (Patina Green) and all of the additional pockets that other jackets didn't offer. Needless to say, the jacket did not disappoint at all!! I live in Michigan and on a 20 degree and snowy day, I was extremely warm and comfortable. The color is super unique and the jacket still has all 800 fill power goose down; haven't lost a single feather ;). I am 5'7", 132 pounds, typically a small but ordered the extra small and it fits perfectly.

WARM!
I bought this jacket as my last winter jacket was abused to death (my fault) on a trail crew in NH two years ago. My current job keeps me outside teachings students, youth, and adults about the environment around them, and most of the time, i'm standing still. I was wearing a jacket with multiple layers on under it, up here in Western Maine, and was freezing my butt off. One of my coworkers is 5' nothing like me, and we have a similar body type so I asked to wear her Marmot jacket for a day, and it was a dream! I love to wear it with the hood down, and even then it keeps my neck warm. But when I need the hood up, it's warm, comfy (doesn't choke me) and I can still here people talking.

Wanted to love it
Bought this to replace a similar Marmot jacket that'd lasted for years. I've had this one for less than a month and the sleeves are already fraying from the velcro that's there to adjust the opening. It's warm and attractive, but the overall quality just isn't there - stitching is uneven in spots, thread ends are hanging out all over the baffles, and the nylon is already getting runs from basic around-town wear.

Leaks down
Nice looking jacket but leaks down. I am returning it.
