Helpful clips
I find Nite-Ize S-Biners very helpful so I got this set of different sizes. I use them to attach things like my keys and water bottle to the outside of my backpack. The little piece that functions to lock the clip is pretty loose and wants to slide off, so be aware of that. Overall, I find them very useful.
2 styles on market
I have seen 2 styles on the market, one that locks closed and one that does not lock. I like the one that locks closed better.
Not stainless
Apparently not good in a beach area. Totally rusted after two weeks.

Love Nite Ize but don’t recommend this product
I have purchased Nite Ize products before and they are great. I recommend things I love to friends and family if they work out for me. After the first week, one of the plastic piece broke off and the other plastic piece won’t stay lock. I got this for my work keys because I absolutely can’t loose them. I was excited to find out Nite Ize has the Runoff waterproof bags but after this experience I don’t know if I can trust this company. Now I’m shopping for a new idea for my keys and a way to keep my electronics absolutely waterproof.
Metal makes them a little heavy
So, what's great about these is that they lock. You wouldn't think that was important until you lose something critical because it popped out of the carabiner. I do wish they were a more light-weight plastic but some people probably prefer the metal.
Quality and performance
I want a quality S-Biner that would work well and last a while; I've gotten all three. The medium size works great for attaching to my belt loop and hanging my keys. The design makes it comfortable and unobtrusive. I use the larger one to hang my water pouch at my campsite. I have haven't found a use for the smaller one yet but I have some ides. You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend Nite Ize brand.
Link between braces & trouser loop
My husband has endless problems with his clip - on braces pulling off his trouser waist band! This morning I had a brilliant idea with my 1 precious S-Biner.......so I clipped 1 part of the 'S' thro the belt loop on his trousers & the other thro the metal 'D' of the brace's clip that endlessly pulls off the trouser waist band. A better day was had (for me) with less builder s bum showing!!
Locking s biner
Love this company and every product of theirs I own. I give these away because people need to know how awesome these are. I recommend the locking biners and the non-lockers can drop your keys - not a fault of the product just a busy lifestyle. It’s why they make the locking variety! Can’t say enough about em. I have all sizes for various purposes!
Dont Rust
Along the Texas coast duck decoys are Texas-rigged and when picking them up after hunting, the loops are typically placed on a carabiner. Most regular metal carabiners fall apart very soon due to rust from the saltwater. These do not rust. After using them for 2 seasons they are still hanging in there.
