I bought this after searching for the "perfect" jacket. It's waterproof and insulated so I don't have to wear multiple layers to keep warm. Plain and simple color and design. It's great for running errands or sloshing around the wet woods! Pockets are fuzzy and warm which are great instead of the usual cold waterproof pockets of other jackets. Highly recommend this jacket and I'm probably going to buy a second one in black.
For the rainy Seattle area, this coat is the BEST! It repels water, looks great, and has a light insulation for the chill. One of the best coats Patagonia has made. I wish they made one just like it one foot longer without changing the shape. I'd buy another.
I never opened the package. I returned it because the color is nothing like what is shown online. In the picture, the jacket appears turquoise, but it is actually a mid jade color. The jacket may be awesome, but it definitely was not the color I was expecting.
