Uncomfortable
Although the material and quality of these is top tier, they're simply too uncomfortable to recommend. The inside of each finger has two robust seams taking up much of the room inside making them feel crowded and pinched. I usually love OR products but this need to go back to the drawing board.
Excellent
I got these gloves for my recent AT section hike. I tried out numerous different gloves in the store and these fit better than any of them. They have great warmth for such a lightweight glove. They kept my fingers toasty down to about 25 deg. and with my rain mitts over them down to 15 deg. and would probably be fine even colder. I accidentally left these out in the cold one night after they got wet and it got down to 15 degrees and they froze solid. I thawed them out by the fire the next morning and put them on wet and my fingers were still warm and they dried out within a few hours. These are my go-to gloves for most situations. Highly recommend.
Love this glove
I've owned these gloves for about 6 years now and they are my go to glove. I wear them on my drive into work before my car heats up, when I'm walking around town, or light hiking in cold temperatures (10F -20F). I've even used them doing some light work around the house and they have held up fantastic. I absolutely reccomend this to anyone looking for a nice warm (not waterproof) glove.
Warm and comfortable, lose the logo please!
I am a woman with longer fingers and I found the small size of these gloves to fit well. I like the wool blend outer layer--it's a nice step up from polyester fleece. I have one quibble with these gloves and that's that I find the backing of the OR logo can be scratchy on the backs of my hands. I'm hoping this will go away with more wear. But my feeling in general is that if I am giving you free advertising via this very prominent logo, you should be paying me, not vice versa. A smaller, less scratchy logo somewhere else would be sufficient.
Bought them for the touch sensors..
Kept them for the warmth. I can unlock and swipe around on my iPhone X but anything requiring fine control is a lesson in futility. However, I really love these gloves for daily back and forth to work or a trip to the store use. I wouldn't shovel snow in them or anything like that but they are very comfortable to wear and feel pretty warm for the weight.
Warmth!
I’ve had a pair of these Flurry Sensor gloves for well over five years. I commute on bike in near zero degree Rocky Mountain winters and they are warmer than my heavy duty gloves I ski with (Kinkos, Marmot big mountain). I’d wear these on the slopes if they had some kind of outer layer.
Great Glove for North MN.
I never write reviews; however, I lost these gloves and really realized how much I love them. The tight weave does a good job of wind block and they are very robust. I went back to REI and bought a new pair. Previous pair was two years old and still in great shape.
Great Gloves-Extra Long Fingers
The OR Flurry Sensor Gloves and Mittens are a go to thinking or you gift/stocking stuffer for everyone in my family. I have been buying these for years. Love these, soft, warm, functional. My son wears large OR gloves. Imagine my surprise when my son tried these on and the fingers had bonus length. You could hide your ear buds in there. Not sure if OR is channeling their inner Edward Scissorhands this year or trying to go for a glove/purse combo...but it was comical. Will be returning these and will compare them to the new arrival in stores length. As I bought these from the outlet sale, not overly disappointed. Always a humorous gamble.
Versitle and Warm
I carry two sets of gloves when back-country skiing: A THICK pair of gloves for waiting around or going down and a THIN more dexterous pair for skinning up, fiddling with bindings, etc. These are my go-to THIN pair of gloves. They are warm enough for below 32 degrees and seem to be breathable enough on 50 degree spring day. They are thicker than normal liners, so you probably wont want to cram them into another pair of gloves, but they could be used that way in a pinch. Found that the Mens small was slightly too bulky around the wrist so I bought the women's small. Fit like a glove.
Breaking down after less than a week…
Bought these gloves less than a week ago and they are already splitting along one seam - poor manufacturing.
