Alternative to riding in the rain
I bought this trainer last winter to get me through the days where riding outside isn't a fun option. I have done over 1000 miles on it now so I have a good feeling for how it works. Getting it out the box and set up is straight forward. The front fork clamp into the front of the frame and the rear wheels sit on the rollers at the rear I've got two road bikes that I use and switching requires a quick adjustment due to the different wheelbase. To me, they feel somewhere between the road and rollers. The frame is stable and only one have I felt unstable (but I was leaving way over to reach the remote for the TV). When out the saddle sprinting it has been fine. Overall this is a good alternative to a wheel based trainer but lighter and much quieter than any trainer I've ever used before. The only reason they don't get five is that they don't have variable resistance that you can control. Very happy with my purchase and getting ready for more miles this winter.

Not exactly as advertised
I bought the Feedback Sports Omnium trainer after reading every review and watching every video that I could find about it, and after using it had to return it. First the good news: it is very portable, easy to set up, stable, and is possibly the quietest trainer I have ever used. I had no issue with the front fork mount being stable enough, and my rear wheel was never in any danger of going off the rollers. However, unlike most resistance trainers where you can control the amount of resistance either by shifting gears or using a control device, the Omnium uses internal magnetic resistors that cannot be adjusted, so the moment you begin a workout the magnets adjust to the amount of effort exerted, which to me felt as though I was constantly climbing a 7.5 or higher grade, and no amount of shifting reduces the resistance. It feels like you are constantly riding up a mountain. The Omnium is advertised as a good pre-race warm-up or post-race warm-down tool, and as a former competitive cyclist I can tell you that it would be useless for either; it's just too much effort all the time. I could not recommend this product, even though I would like to. Perhaps a future model will address the resistance problem.

Great trainer for anywhere, anytime!

I bought this trainer in the fall, preparing for the winter and I'm so glad I did! I haven't used a smart trainer, so I cant compare to that. I have a speed and cadence sensor on my bike and it all pairs easily with Zwift. I like that you only have to take the front tire off and not mess with the drive train in the back. The progressive resistance is no joke and I am able to really kick my own butt with this set up. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again!

Top Level Trainer!

I’ve been using the Feedback Sports Omnium trainer for over a year now and absolutely love it! Its Compact and lightweight that works right out of the box, I can do all of my workouts on it, and it comes with an easy system to swap between quick release or thru axle bikes. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new trainer.

Exceptional trainer for small apartments

The Omnium is a great first trainer. The resistance feels very linear--the faster your wheel spins the more resistance it adds. Assuming you have speed and cadence sensors, this set up will work well with Zwift and provide you with an estimated power output as well. The best part? When I am done using it, the whole thing folds up neatly and can be stored easily, making it the perfect fit for my small apartment.

Great Idea, but...

I bought this hoping to have a trainer easier to travel with to races, etc., or to just use it outside on the porch when I didn't have time to load up for a ride. The set-up would be easy, if you didn't have to make adjustments. I had to practically disassemble the front just to adjust the fork hook up for my smaller bike. The bolts are extremely difficult to get to, not to mention trying to undo. I needed nearly 5 different tools to do so. Once set up, it didn't feel like the road, but rather more like my regular magnetic trainer. My cyclopes fluid trainer is much better. I also felt it wasn't stable enough and concerned about the pressure on the front fork. It might work for some, but not for me. I'm returning it.

Solid Riding Platform

excellent roller trainer, my first time having an indoor trainer. I use with my hardtail with 27.5 x 2.8 tire on a 40mm wide rim with knobby tires. I inflate tire to 30 psi, 35 psi is max recommended. No problems. The 15 x 110 front axle adapter has very tight tolerances which gives the front end a solid feeling when riding the bike.

Performs well

I purchased this item in anticipation of my gym closing because of the Covid-19 virus. It has been a great addition to my workout routine and has performed as expected. I recommend this trainer.

Poor quality control

Front axle holder is extremely tight for 12x100 and each roller has a different level of resistance. Assuming I have a defective unit, but I won’t be trying another.
