More colors
I loved that hat when I tried it on at the store. It fit perfectly which is always a problem as I have a small head. And the hat looked well-made. The only problem was the light gray which is a great color, but too light for me. I could see my hat getting grimy-looking fast so I would need a somewhat darker gray (and it doesn't need to be as dark as charcoal gray). Other colors would be great as well.
Comfortable hat
Bought this for my trip to go hiking in Big Bear for a few days. I have a very large head (sz8) so it's hard to find hats I like that are comfortable. This one is barely big enough which is why I haven't given it 5. It is very soft and did the job needed. It is thicker than the usual hat this style which I don't necessarily like but I think it will means it lasts a little longer. Will now be my new lid for surfing so maybe the thickness will help hold the water in and keep my head from getting too hot.
My Favorite Hat
I've always had problems finding a hat that I enjoy wearing, but this one is perfect in my opinion. For someone who can't wear a trucker style hat, this is perfect. Please make more styles shaped like this!
REI hat
It does a good job keeping me cool. The brim can handle getting wet and dries fine. I wish the strap on the back was a little longer because I have an above average sized head. Lobe the metal clip on the back too. It goes great with my dark grey and green REI hat from last year. Only difference is they added co-op in the stitching.
Great hat for bald heads
If you are fortunate enough to be bald, and like to wear low profile hats, you may have noticed that the embroidery on the front of hats often sticks out on the backside and rubs against you defenseless forehead. This wonderful hat has a large panel of nice, soft material on the inside. I've never seen this before, but it's awesome. Extra bonus: you can wear it back East and let those EMS'ers know you're from a place with bigger mountains and fewer bugs.
Excellent Hat
This is a very good hat. I picked one up at the Seattle store for my girlfriend and she loved it. She has gotten many compliments and admirers since the purchase. I am even considering purchasing another.
Best hat ever
This hat keeps me pretty cool even when its crazy hot and sunny. It's not too deep so it doesn't hang too low on my forehead. I love the color and wear it almost everyday! Definitely my go to hat.
