Agree with the other two reviews this chair is NOT lightweight (def not for backpacking) and it can be a bit of a challenge initially to get the seat to slip on all the frame poles, but after a few times and uses it stretches a tad and no more issues after that, and the chair slign has remained taught for sitting after 2 years of use. It's a steel frame, not aluminum so that makes it sturdier than similar lighter chairs. I use it for motorcycle camping so the bit of extra weight is not an issue and it fits in my side case too. Thus for my use it's a great chair.
Very difficult to get the last rod into its pocket. I hauled on the loop so I though I might bend the rod but couldn't make it work.
I have two of these along with several other brand camp chairs. This is by far the most comfortable and - importantly - the most stable, even compared to the equivalent REI brand chair and Helinox. It's a great price and well made so I expect it to last. Might not be the lightest relative to the more expensive brands but I'm not backpacking with it so that just doesn't matter. Folds up pretty small into a tidy carrying pouch. Highly recommend.
Not recommended. It's practically impossible to set up and very heavy. Returning it right away.
