best little companion backpack for dayhiking

this is the best little backpack that could! such a shame they dont make it anymore. i have modded mine and taken it on countless hundreds of hiking miles and daytrips from being a tourist in cities to hiking up mountains. truly an amazing little companion. can be machine washed too! cleans up so nice. wow. this backback is the best and fits everything you want on hiking/sightseeing. this is purely a hiking/tourist backback and of course there is no room for a laptop like that other review complained about. nowhere does it advertise laptop sleeve or that it can fit a laptop. it can fit an ipad but why would you want to trek your laptop when you should be out exploring! it will fit a 2L bladder (deuter bladders are indestructable!), nalgene water bottle inside, jacket, fleece, snacks. and if you add some cord to the outside, you will have extra storage for another jacket, and hiking poles. and in the 7 or 8 years ive had this pack, i have not had a single hole or rip or anything. the construction is superb.

Had to return: too small for a 13 inches laptop

Great quality and finishing. I had to return it because I wanted it for day trips while backpacking through Europe. I will be working every other day with my computer, and while I leave the main backpack at the hostel, I wanted to carry the essentials and laptop here. It didnt work.
