Nice n lite running shoes I wear size 14 I got the wide I never had a shoe that fit my feet so perfect I do a lot of shuffling and skipping and backwards shuffling and running I'm all over the place and these shoes are phenomenal plain and simple if you love your feet and yourself like I do you're a fool for not getting a pair they're easy to clean too I got about 10 3 and 1/2 mile run so far and the tread is holding up well I would definitely highly recommend these running shoes to anyone much love to all enjoy the journey!!!!
My second pair of the rebel v4. I love this colorway and I'll be purchasing another colorway soon!
The Rebel line peaked with V2 and the V4 continues the lines decline towards mediocracy. I'm not saying it is a bad shoe as it's not, but it's certainly no longer exceptional. A note on sizing, that platform is (very) wide vs previous models so if you have a narrow foot this may not work for you. As with previous models if you're buying in the UK use the Euro sizing to get the correct fit the UK sizing isn't accurate.
Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are not as enthusiastic about the shoes this time. Regarding the size, on the UK website the sizes are displayed as US sizes. In case of any difficulties please contact our customer service.
I really wanted this shoe to work.. it's really light, the foam feels nice and allows me to pick up a faster pace, it looks great but I've been having problems every time I try to run for over 7k. I've got bruises in spots I've never got before. Today I had a 20 miles long run that I couldn't finish because of the pain. At mile 18 I had to stop. When I removed the shoe I had a dark bruise on the top of my right foot where it connects to the ankle. On both feet I had bruises on the outer side of the foot, just below the big bone that sticks out just below the ankles. And a swollen spot underneath my foot just before the toes. I know it's a great shoe but it didn't work for me. The sad part is that I've already put around 100k and I can't return them. I just feel that I lost my money and now I have to buy another shoe hopping it will work fine. My previous training shoe I was able to put almost 1000 miles with no problems.
Expected more from a New Balance product, the shoes did not age well right out of the box. Soles leave much to be desired, as they did not stand up to daily use. Very disappointed.
I purchased these when they first came out, I’ve run about 80% of my mileage in these for the past three months. I’ve owned multiple pairs of the V3 as well. The initial first runs felt a little wobbly and had me worried. After the initial break-in period the shoes formed to my foot and began to provide great stability benefits. The flares of midsole on the medial forefoot prevent overpronation from fatigue. You can easily switch between forefoot, mid foot and some heel strike. The outsole and exposed midsole have held up surprisingly well. The upper is very breathable and plenty of volume. The forefoot is very generous for a traditional style shoe. I am a heavier runner at 195 lbs and 6’1”, the midsole does bottom out from time to time, but not a real concern as others have mentioned. These fit true to NB size, I wore a size 12 in V3 and V4 has stayed true. Definitely going to buy the cyber jade color way on July 1st.
Look amazing, comfy as get out, smooth under foot and light weight. However, the ankle collar is very rigid and abrasive. 12 mile run, mile 8, ankle was bleeding. Still 4 miles from home, pained through it. Socks bloody, shoes bloody, and Achilles feeling the beating from the collar on the back too. So close to being great for me, will be returning.
By far my favourite pair of shoes now! The comfort, amazing, I wear them all day. The colour, to die for!! I literally get stopped in pubic, by strangers, complimenting me on them and I can’t stop telling everyone about them!
Sad to see them go with the new model out. Most comfortable running shoe I have had so far. Bought 3 pairs total. Good for beginners and heavy runners.
One of two most comfortable pair of sneakers I’ve ever owned! The other being the new balance 1080V13’s! Incredible. Like walking on clouds.
