Wish it really was waterproof.
I raise shibas and all of my boys have broken the mold and LOVED to fetch...but we have grueling summers here. The Glow Streak seemed like the perfect solution! My dogs absolutely loved it and we all loved being able to play and find the ball without suffering in the heat and humidity. However, I noticed that the ball didn't "turn off" as it should...still blinking on the kitchen counter a good half hour after I'd pried it away from the pups. In all their play i can understand wear and tear, but I don't think they should have been able to make this fatal bite. (Shibas are medium bite dogs). Either way...one weekend outside in a rainstorm and it no longer worked, and was completely rusted inside.

My FAVOURITE BALL (actually I mean “our” favourite) to use at the dog park or at night in the yard. The ball glows beautifully! Not to bright and not to dull. I find this draws & keeps my dogs attention even more so then a standard bounce ball. She is literally a nutcase when she realizes I have it on hand. The batteries are easy to replace, and last a really long time. Most Importantly, this ball is suitable for a dog that suffers with seizure activity, the colour changing features is a “Fade” between colours not rapid blinking sequences. The only time the ball gives off the “blinking” frequency is to let you know it’s going to shut off if it senses no activity
Nice and Bright
I have bought 2 of these so far, the red and the disco colour. My dogs absolutely love these balls and when they see me grab them, they know its field fetch time. As with all items meant for active dogs problems can occur(water,snow and electronic damage) but Niteize has a warranty against item failure which is a big plus
I love the ball but it’s not waterproof.
I bought this ball for my pup and he loved it so much.! I’ve never seen him actually play fetch u til I got this ball, but after a week the inside was rusted and the ball would t light up anymore. This is ridiculous considering the price of the ball.

My dog loves this ball. My Boykin (Destroykin) Spaniel usually has a toy in pieces before I can get the packaging in the Trash.
Great until it isn’t!
We like in Vermont with long dark winters and this ball has been a god send for our very active mini Australian Shepard (24 lbs). We are on our 3rd one because they just stop working after a few weeks. After reading other reviews there is a problem with the circuit board/battery unit that just can’t stand up to daily use. The outside stands up to the use (she is not a chewer) but then the inside fails in the dark, it’s all over! We have managed to find most of the balls again after they failed but these balls are useless without the light! We want these balls to work! We have changed the batteries and that doesn’t fix the problem. The circuit board/battery unit seems to move around and rattle inside when shaken/dropped. They are too expensive to keep buying every few weeks. Can we buy replacement circuit board/battery units? Please fix this problem! I would have given it 5 stars if would only last longer let than a several weeks!

The Best Dang Ball!
I bought one ball as a gift from the store for friends dog. Max had so much fun with the ball, I returned to the store and bought two more balls for gifts. I had to order directly from the company whereas the store didn't have a supply any longer. I bought 6 more balls and all my doggie friends love them!
My dog loves it...... but
The idea of the ball is fantastic, however it's definitely not waterproof. Water gets in and now the electrics have rusted and a spring has broken off. It no longer lights up. Obviously my dog can still use it as a ordinary ball however it's a bit expensive for it to be ordinary!

My dog has something personal against sphere, orb or otherwise round like objects... This dog can go through a Major League baseball in about 15 minutes. It took him all day to ruin the GlowStreak... That's legit!
He loves his ball
Bought the ball for my friends dog. We were disappointed at fist then realized you had to take the ball apart and remove the tag between the batteries. Also, the batteries were backwards . The dog LOVES the ball.
