Finally, a real pillow for backpacking

I've tried nearly every other pillow out there. Most inflatable pillows are like sleeping on a balloon. Foam pillows are two soft, heavy, and pack way too large. This Sea to Summit Premium pillow is large enough, light enough, and is baffled internally so it holds it's shape. It's comfortable when on your back, side, and stomach. It's easy to inflate & deflate, and can be adjusted for firmness easily. It packs down about the size of a baseball. The fabric is nice. I'm too old to sleep without a pillow, or on clothes in a stuff sack. I also don't want any extra weight to carry. This pillow is the very best I've found.

Great for large setups

I purchased this pillow about 2 years ago, and it's not no longer holding air. I suppose getting 2 years out of a pillow is pretty good these days, but still, would love for it to last a couple years longer. It's great for car camping or when I am using an ultra wide, non slippery mattress pad, otherwise this thing slips around like none other. It won't fit in your sleeping bag head compartment on a mummy, but that's expected given the size. It will however, feel great, and work like a normal pillow which is why I bought it. Overall I gave it 3 stars because it only lasted two years with minimal use.

Closest thing to a real pillow you can get

This is seriously the closest thing to a real full size pillow that you can get in the back country. I took this to Table Rock, NC on a crips evening and it was not only extremely comfortable, but helped keep my face and neck warm as well throughout the night. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for comfort in the woods.

Glorious!!!

I have trouble sleeping without "my pillow." The only problem is that I couldn't pack my king size pillow for two weeks at Philmont Scout Ranch with my sons. I've tried so many camping pillows: small inflatables, memory foam, I've stuffed clothes in stuff sacks. Nothing worked! Until this pillow. It is BIG, which I love, but wasn't like sleeping on a ball, it is flat like a pillow. The quilted fabric is soft against the skin. The best part of the pillow is the valve. It is easily inflated and you have the ability to adjust the firmness throughout the night. It deflates easily and packs down small and light. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. I slept so well for 2 weeks with no neck pain. Will never camp without it!

Best backpacking pillow, ever!

I splurged on this, and am so glad that I did. This is almost as comfy as my normal bed pillow in a size that fits easily in my pack or pannier. I'm a side sleeper and, for me, the trick is to not inflate it very full. This allows it to conform to the perfect shape to provide just the right amount of soft, squishy support.

Best camping pillow out there

I've only used this once so far, but it was the best night of sleep I've ever had when backpacking. This is the fourth backpacking pillow I've had over the past couple years, and I can safely say that as long as this holds up, I won't be buying another one for a long time. It might be a little big to fit in a mummy bag, but it works perfectly in my Sierra Designs Backcountry Bed 600 sleeping bag. I cannot recommend this pillow highly enough.

Finally comfortable

I also have tried several. This is the right size, and the fabric is comfortable. Others slide away. This is great, and is still reasonably lightweight.

Nice size but crunchy

Pros: Fairly large Inflates and deflates quickly Folds and packs away easily Small stuff sack Light Cons: Sounds like you are sleeping on a pile of plastic bags. The noise would have annoyed my fellow campers, so I returned it.
