YETI  MOLLE Bottle Opener

I have this for my Flip 12, it falls off if you look at it. I finally had to take metal tape and close off the ends, but even that is tearing. Love the idea, dislike the design. Might try the Zinger and hope it stays on better. Save your $10 bucks, shortly after putting it on it will be gone and you'll be reaching for the bottle opener on your keychain.

I purchased this for a Christmas gift for my husband, it was shipped quickly, and fits perfectly on our Yeti hopper 30! Can't wait to fill our hopper with some beverages and get outside and use our Mollie opener. We know it won't disappoint. We r firm believers in the YETI products we live in Northern Michigan and on December 23 we were hit with a wind storm causing us to lose power till December 25. Our fridge was full of food for the up coming holidays we couldn't stand the thought of it going to waste. Thankfully our trusty YETI clan came together and saved Christmas for us!

Fits ok, when put together bottle opener is loose and slides off. Directions were followed and spacing is correct.

I had this on my new Yeti Hopper Two 30 and on the first outing, it fell off. I heard it hit the ground and reattached it, thinking I would take the advice from another review and close the gap with some JB Weld or something. But the second time I took it out, I went to open and a bottle and it was gone. Poor design. I have way to much money tied up in Yeti gear and this is the only one with which I am not satisfied. Fortunately it was also the least expensive.

Father's day gift I was pretty excited about. The bottle opener goes on the molle straps no problem, which is also the problem. If it gets bumped right it slips right off the molle straps, which happened 2-3 times on the first day I used it (once I almost didn’t find it hiding in the sand). Yeti needs to relocate the strap opening or better yet include something to close the opening (example ideas in the attached photo). Attn:Yeti - These ideas may or may not be patent pending, but I would be happy to share them with you!

I purchased this item because far too many times we were at the beach, at a party, on the boat fishing, or tailgating at a sports event, when someone needed a bottle opener and no one had one available so we would all start looking for things to improvise with. The Molle opener is attached to one of my bags for easy access and I absolutely LOVE it! So, not only did we purchase our Molle bottle opener, when we purchased our Tundra 35, Yeti was amazing enough to send us a keychain bottle opener for free! Once I'm able to purchase my HOPPER two 20, I'll update my review on how nicely it fits to the HOPPER two 20.

It's easy to install and very handy having a bottle opener attached to your cooler. The only problem is if you are using it to open a beer you have to tilt the beer over to far and it then spews. I returned my Molle Bottle opener and got a Yeti Bottle Key and came up with a cool way of attaching it to my hopper cooler.

I got the MOLLE bottle opener as an add-on to my new flip top hopper, both purchased at the same time. This bottle opener is as streamlined, sturdy and sleek as advertised, but I lost it on the first adventure with my cooler. It threads through two of the loops attached to the side of the hopper, but just not securely enough I guess for my extreme football tailgating. If you get this, I'd recommend maybe taking a pair of plumbers pliers and clamping down on the openings to close them as much as possible - after it's been installed of course - to prevent it slipping off and getting lost. It's a neat addition to the set-up, but I doubt I'd spend more money plus shipping to replace it at this point.

I just got a Molle Bottle Opener for my Hopper 30. It installed really easy and felt solid. It opened a bottle easily, as it should, with hardly any flex of the cooler. I was concerned about other reviews saying their bottle opener fell off too easily so I got some JB Weld Putty, mixed up a little and filled in the entrance slots on the opener. A few minutes later it set up and now it's on and there is no way the opener is going anywhere. Yeah, it makes the opener permanently attached, but I don't plan on moving it anyway. Now the bottle opener is as secure and reliable as the cooler.
