Where are my Glasses, on your face!

These are the lightest weight MJ's I've ever owned. I believe this was pair #14 and in comparison to all sport styles, other wrap styles, and the stylish Castles style frames, nothing has felt better. In fact, these are so light, I hope they are as durable as others I've had. I went with the lighter green HT lens as I have in my Island Times, which gets the most wear of any pair, and I'm really pleased that was my decision. This lens is great to drive in and work into the later hours of the day. I get both snowy winters and bright sunny summers, travel to tropical locations and I know this will be the most versatile pair to date.

Light, comfortable, with great coverage

Can't say much more about Maui Jim Twin Falls, other than they are great glasses for me. Mine are the gloss black fade with Maui Rose prescription lenses. They are so light and comfortable, with the rubber nose pads, and the flexible frames which don't squeeze your head. It's like you would barely know you are wearing them, if not for the great visuals you are presented with. Love the wrap-around style which provides excellent coverage, and they look very cool, especially in profile. Love my Twin Falls.

Perfect for running, hiking

I love these sunglasses! They are very lightweight and are perfect for my running and hiking and stay put on my face. I like the adjustable “posts” to fit my nose. My only concern was the durability but I have had these sunglasses 3.5 years now and they are still in great condition. The only issue I’ve had is when folded the arms touch/rub the lens leaving a mark (see picture).

I purchased my twin falls wrap around sunglasses over 2 years ago. Last month I had the lenses changed to the brown lenses. The nose pieces were replaced as well as the arms. Like getting new sunglasses! I used the sunglasses almost every day at work which is outdoors. I had gotten the grey lens because I thought with being outside in the Hawaiian sun. I found that I had trouble reading or looking at something up close. The lenses were too dark for me to do those things. The brown lenses are great! I find that I don’t need to take them off like I did with the grey lenses. I love the wrap around frame, and how the sunglasses doesn’t slide off my face when I’m sweating. Very comfortable too.

Maui Jim is the only brand that I buy

Between my family of 3 and me, we own six pairs of MJ sunglasses. I'm a bit rough on my sunglasses and have broken the arms on my Twin Falls glasses twice on two separate occasions (and I am the only one who has damaged my sunglasses). Both times, MJ repaired them and sent them back to me quickly. MJ glasses can be somewhat fragile depending on the model but treat them like "equipment for your eyes." Don't abuse them and throw them around (or sit on them like I did) and you should be OK. The lenses are phenomenal and the main reason I only buy MJ to protect my eyes.

Twin Falls, root beer frame, Blue Hawaii lens, lightweight!

Twin Falls, blue lenses are great in bright light and on the water too. The root beer frame is very light. The adjustment with the nose piece is great for custom fitting higher or lower on your face. I had to take about 5 minutes adjusting mine. One side of the nosepiece wasn’t the same distance as the other out of the box but easily fixable pushing in the other side. Great quality and very light. I just added the Maui’s Cablz, glasses retainer, it’s great for boating and peace of mind, and it adds just enough counterweight to keep glasses tight on my face.

Overall, excellent glasses!! Just very fragile. Clarity, color, and eye protection top notch.

Received my new Maui Jim's after a pair I had for almost 20 years could not be repaired. Took them out of the box, not at all what I expected. Nothing like my older glasses, very fragile looking and had nose pieces. Not true wraps in my opinion, placed them back in the box for almost three weeks. Finally started wearing them, in true Maui Jim fashion they are amazing!! Fit and clarity are amazing. They really are for driving only, very fragile. Yes I could have returned them, or purchase a second heavier pair!

Worth the price, fantastic quality

I bought the rootbeer frames with bronze lenses for myself and I love them. The lenses make everything crisp and clear and they aren't even prescription glasses. The wrap style glasses are light weight and I forget that I'm even wearing them. They fit on the bridge of my nose perfectly because I can adjust the nose pads. I was a little nervous about buying glasses without trying them on but the lady in the chat box gave me advice. I wish I hadn't waited so long to purchase. Couldn't be happier.

Not the bestNot up to Maui Jim standards

Of course the lenses are Maui Jim Quality. But that's the only feature I like. The glasses themselves fell "cheap". The frames are so light, I feel as if I'm at all active outside will break them. i really do not like them. That's what I get for ordering from a picture, as opposed to physically trying them. They feel like any cheap pair in a convenience store. Keep in mind, I bought my last pair of Maui Jim's twenty years ago (in 2oo1) and they were the BEST sunglasses I ever had!

Previous Brand Loyalist

I liked the fact that their website had a virtual try-on feature. This, coupled with the fact that I’ve owned a few pairs of Maui Jim’s over the years, prompted me to buy a new pair. I was very disappointed. The frames felt very light-weight and cheap. (I sure hope I don’t fall asleep with them on because they’ll be toast for sure.) Like made in a third-world country cheap. I really don’t have much confidence in their quality at least initially, especially compared to my previous experiences. These lenses aren’t polarized. They don’t exhibit the same vivid contrasts that I had in older pairs. They just feel like they are over-priced sunnies and I got ripped-off. Even the case is not as sturdy as past cases. I would urge you to buy a pair of sunglasses that you actually touch, not online. Personally, I probably won’t buy another pair again, but who knows maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised as time moves forward.
