Great for any active sunglass wearer

I bought these to use when riding my bicycle and at the beach. They really work to secure your sunglasses so they don't slip down the bridge of my nose when biking. The way these tighten is so much easier than the cloth style sunglasses. I can easily adjust these while wearing them. The rubbery end pieces that connect the strap to the glasses is great and they give you a small and a large so you could use this with anything from wire ended reading glasses to chunky acrylic sunglasses. I had a cloth style croakie for years and this is a great improvement. It doesn't get wet with sweat or hold onto water in water sports, its easily adjustable even when you are wearing them, its so light you hardly notice it. This was a great purchase.

Don't hold when wet!

I lost my sunglasses after the ends got sweaty and would not hold. After drying they stuck at the time but an hour later and no sunglasses. Don't waste your money. Even the smallest holders don't hold tight enough.

Defective

This piece of gear had sharp wire poking out near the ears on either side that were uncomfortable when taking glasses away from eyes and returning to the face. I returned this the croakies eyewear retainer to the store. Upon inspection of this item T the store about 25-30 percent hanging on the display had the same problem. I decided to not exchange for another pair of cronies.

Works well while running

Works well to keep my glasses up while running. The product include two sizes of temple pieces, for mid-sized and larger frames, which was nice. I found the wire to be a bit long to hold my glasses tight to my head, but that was easily shortened with a wire cutter and needle nose pliers.

Slick and Subtle

This eyewear leash is pretty nifty. You can easily adjust its length and position, and it has the ability to virtually hide along your hairline. The only annoyance to me is that when you look up or turn your head you may catch a hoodie or something, which may move your eyewear.

Discrete Eyewear Protection

PRO:Easy to install, fits my glasses well, thin cord is discrete. CON: In its collapsed position, the cord is too long to snug around the back of my head like competitive products do to secure the glasses during aggressive activities and sports.

They came apart.

My cycling helmet does not have a dock for sunglasses. I wasn't too crazy about how far it stuck out, but I prefer that over something on my neck. Within a week, the cord came out of the adjusting slider, so I returned them.

Broke on install

Didn't even get to wear these once as the joint snapped immediately. My guess is they were manufactured a long time ago, sat on a shelf, and the plastic got old and brittle. or something. In any case, useless. Tried to do a warranty return to Croakies but they're web warranty process didn't work. Disappointing. Going back to old "non technical" sunglasses retainers with less failure points.

Great retention device

I bought this item because I wanted a retention device that would not hang on or drag around my neck as I moved my head while wearing glasses. These do that perfectly. The only draw-back I see is the size of the rubber piece that goes on the end of the glasses temple. There are two sizes that come with the item, but some of my glasses have large ends, and it is difficult to get the rubber piece over the end.
