Hammer 2 in Mendoza Argentina..very light to carry and strong to the winds..
We purchased this tent last spring for a trip North of Baffin island. We were looking for a light tent that could sustain strong winds. We were very happy on how it performed, a very nice feature is to be able to install the tent from the inside out, it is easy and fast. The vestibule is very small which isn't suitable for cooking, to increase vestibule space we were digging the entrance down in the snow. Using a single wall tent in cold temperatures you have to be ready to deal with frosty walls in the morning.
I was looking for a light weight tent for snow and rain camping. This is it. No condensation and very breathable material. At a little over 4 lbs, this is a great 4 season tent. Great for snowy times in Shasta or backcountry storm days. I love the storage pockets inside for my glasses and headlamp. Very easy to put together and tear down. Great price for what you get! I have not tried it in the summer, yet.
I was looking at this one and the mountain hardwear...for the price and Name couldnt beat it... I tried it out and found it stood up to the rain and wind, the condensation was low to none the vestibule handy cuz I can take it off, and has snow flaps, aplus, the pounds weren't bad packed nice.. im heading to snow soon and colder weather ill up date this after
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this tent last year on an elk hunt in Utah and it worked great. Temps would dip down into the low teens at night. In the morning you could wake up with plenty of room to get dressed and get ready to go. Middle of the afternoon naps were great as the tent has so many vents it made napping the best ever. I would highly recommend this tent to anyone.
