Works well, worth the weight.

Bought this to protect the Dash 2, and I love it. The coated side (faces up) is easy to find, even in the dark. There was a heavy dew and the tent stayed dry. I love the idea that the footprint takes the brunt of abuse so I don't mind the extra ounces. If something ever does rip it, I just have to replace/repair the footprint while the tent is still safe.

Great option for Fly Creek UL2

I bought this for my BA Fly Creek UL2. Yes, this weighs 3 oz more than the BA footprint, but the 68 denier nylon seems way more sturdy than the nylon taffeta. Let's be honest, you're probably looking at this for puncture/abrasion resistant on the bottom of your tent. If you are truly being stingy on weight, there are so many options to do the fast fly with a piece of Dyneema and some bowlines. If you want to spend $30 vs. $65 and are willing to live with the additional 3oz, this is a great option.
