Not a fit for Salomon MTN
3 stars for the lack of clarity on the part of Dynafit. If you have Salomon MTN bindings or Atomic backland bindings, save yourself the trouble and do not buy these crampons. Several reviews elsewhere say that these crampons fit with the plastic clips that come with the MTN bindings, but I had a much different experience with mine. The bar required quite excessive force to slide into the bindings and once they did, I could not get the crampons down from the vertical position, and one of the crampons I ended up snapping. Save yourself the trouble and go for the atomic or plum crampons that are designed for the backland bindings (same exact design as the salomon mtn).
The Best Ski Crampons
I purchased these for my Moment Wildcats that are mounted with a Pivot Cast system. These crampons performed exceptionally during my trip to Tahoe in early April. These brought me up some bulletproof morning sierra skinners that wouldn't have been possible without. They engage with the snow effortlessly and release without drag/catching. I was putting my full body weight on one side to hold an edge in steep ice and expected these to be all bent out of shape, but to my surprise they were good as new afterewards. Super impressed with the strength for the relatively light weight crampons. If you have a Pivot Cast you have no other options, and if you don't these are a fantastic option for you.

Work well, possibly fragile.
Overall work well, but unfortunately seem fairly fragile, or perhaps just one of the ones I have is. Broke on the 3rd tour with them. Review won't let me post a picture, but occurred right where the crampons meets the linking bar that inserts into bindings. The place I would expect something like this to fracture.
Breaks easily
The weak point where the crampon attaches to the bar that fits into the ski binding broke on first use.
Do Yourself a Favor..
These are a life-saver! The only way to do spring approaches... I've watched too many people lose traction and take scary slides down frozen skin tracks. Do yourself a favor and throw a pair of these in your pack!
Who knew?!
Plenty of people knew and told me I needed them. Stubborn enough to wait a long time. Finally used them and wow was I amazed. So pleasant to not be gripped and just cruise right up the windboard.

PNW spring touring must-haves
Bought these for volcano season in the PNW to pair with Salomon MTN bindings. Another reviewer mentions that they do not fit with his bindings, but they work just fine with mine!
Does what it needs to!
Solid product that do everything that you need them to. Dynafit has everything pretty dialed in. I feel confident they’ll hold up to everything they need to.

Quality skinning crampons
Does the job. Solid construction, easy to install and remove. Somewhat restricts gliding on level or short downhills.
Good quality but I wish they packed better
Wish they packed smaller into my bag. Also might be able to reduce weight with some cut outs. Lots of metal.
