Perfect for skate skis
These ski straps fit XC skate skis perfectly. The price is right too - much less than Amazon with shipping - especially of you send it to an REI store of pickup. I'l probably get a couple of spare pairs.
Not great for all skis
They were protective, but not wide enough for my nordic skis. Mine are pretty slim, but this didn't fit at all. Returned for other Swix ski straps.
Swix straps too wide for XC racing skis
Did not receive straps with REI and Swix logo on straps. Received Swix Ski Straps R0402D. They are too wide for the 42mm tips and tails of Fischer skate and classic racing skis to effectively keep the bottom surface of the skis from touching.

X-C skis with skins
So great. Skied them on the coastal trail in Anchorage on days near 32 degrees, sufficient grip, way better glide than fish scales.
