Super hot and not as versatile as volt 12
I love my electric ooni in Florida at my condo can't have fire. It is very flexible except for napalatono pizza. My new propane koda 2 does those pizzas great but is hard to throttle down for a Detroit or NY
Better than the original 16"
Love this new version. Smaller, lighter, barely lose any room between the new 14” and the old 16” - heats faster, distribution more even. We love it
Really easy to use, a
Really easy to use, a little trial and error on temperatures, but that's to be expected. Seem to do really well heating on full for 20 mins to get the stone hot, then turn down to cook the pizza its self. Really good quality item, looks great. Got the bundle with the peel and the cover, both are great. Ive never eaten as much pizza!
Obsessed!
We’re obsessed with our Ooni! It works so well and our first pizza came out perfectly.
My Koda 2
This is my fourth pizza oven and 2nd Ooni. My first Ooni was a Koda 16. This new oven is by far better than anything I have ever used before. The variation of temperature on the stone is low enough to get good consistent results on my pizza bakes. The ability to control the overall temperature is allowing me to do things I haven’t been able to do before. I recently added the temperature gauge which helps me determine when the temperature is stable. I find this very useful. All and all I think it is a great oven.
Great pizza oven
First pizza was a Detroit style pan, not perfect but nice. Second pizza again Detroit style but making some necessary but essential adjustments, it was great. The build quality of the Ooni is very good. After using the oven a couple of times things fall into place. Flame control is not too difficult and I will soon be trying some of the nice looking recipes from the booklet.
Impressive
Really impressed with the new heat distribution. Had a different oven before but the first results in this new koda2 are very satisfactory. I like the extra space and bigger stone size. I am not necessarily doing bigger pizzas but I like the space for movement. Worth the upgrade.
The perfect pizza!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven is amazing! It cooks the perfect pizza! It is perfect for friends and family get-togethers or just having your own pizza night. It always you to adjust the heat and comes with an awesome helpful app. You will love what you can do with your Ooni!
Ooni Koda 2
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Ooni Koda 2 a couple of weeks ago. It seems to made of good quality materials. I've been making pizza in my regular oven for many years, so I feel very comfortable making pizza. I've now used my Onni Pizza oven twice, not what I expected. I can not seem to get the same quality Pizza I was getting in my regular oven. Yes, the pizza does cook quick as advertised but it's hard to keep it from burning on the edges. There is obviously a substantial learning curve. . I've made six pizza's so far. . . none have been to our liking. To be honest sorry I purchased this oven. I'll keep trying and hopefully get it figured out.
My first pizza oven
This is my first actual pizza oven, that being said I have some issues with it. Lighting it is a pain, it never lights easily and takes a bit of time using the auto lighter and usually shoots a decent sized fireball out of it. It’s hard to get the stone hot enough for a good crisp on the bottom of a pizza. Cooking multiple pizzas, after the first it takes quite a bit of time to reheat the stone enough to get a decent crisp on the bottom. That being said I’ve still be able to make great pizzas.
