Functional but not for tall people

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants were perfect for skiing, they blocked the wind and didn't get wet at all. Three stars because I ordered a long inseam size (I'm 5'11 and have a 34" inseam) the leg length was great but the length of the rise is way too short (from button, zipper, to bottom of groin). It was like low rise jeans which when you're skiing and moving a lot was uncomfortable. I have other ski pants from north face that were perfect if why I came back to order these and it's like they only made the legs longer not the whole pair of pants. Would not recommend for that reason if you're tall.

Shine in Mauve!

I recently bought the North Face Women's Freedom Stretch Pants for snowboarding, and overall, I'm pretty happy with them! I usually prefer bibs, but I was drawn to the beautiful mauve color-and it's even more stunning in person. These pants are not insulated, so if you're planning to sit in the snow for long periods, they can get chilly and wet. I knew this likely, so I wasn't caught off guard. While they're not as cozy as bibs, they definitely make you look good! I have wide hips and a big butt, so I sized up for a baggier fit, and that worked out well. If you're looking for stylish pants that offer a solid range of motion, these are a solid choice. Just keep in mind the lack of insulation (still pretty warm though) and be prepared for more of a wet sensation than the insulated freedom pants. Still, the color! Totally worth it.

Spring skiing pants

These are so cute! I got them for spring skiing when the weather isn't cold enough for insulated pants and they will be perfect. Fit is fitted, I ordered the xs and it wouldn't even zip so I was nervous the s wouldn't fit, but luckily it fits perfectly. Waist is 27 in, 5'8 length was just right. I could have gone w a taller size but regular was probably slightly better for length.

A solid purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These ran a bit smaller than the NorthFace snow pants I have owned before. But overall they are super comfortable and stretchy, making them my favorite snow pants from a comfort and performance perspective. The pants are a bit more bell-bottomed than I anticipated from the photo though.

Cute pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were cute and I loved the color. They were pretty low rise with flared legs which is flattering on my body type. However, I ended up returning them because I wanted snow pants that looked more like normal pants so I went with the Apex style.

Love the color

I haven't bought snow pants in years, but had to replace mine after losing them in a move. These are a little tight for size medium, but otherwise have worked fine. I use them to keep warm and dry while shoveling outside or walking the dogs.

Do not buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pants were far too thin to be useful on a ski scope as intended. They were also poorly sized and did not align with the sizing chart. When I attempted to return < 30 days after receipt of said pants, customer service was unwilling to assist.

Lightweight but good water and wind resistance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very lightweight-to the point I didn't think they would be warm at all-but they do the job. May need more than just leggings or long underwear underneath for very cold days but for the 30-40 degree weather we've been having they are perfect.

Great Quality, Runs Small: Women's Freedom Stretch Pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a pair of Women's Freedom Stretch Pants, and overall, I found them to be of excellent quality. The material is durable, and the design offers flexibility and freedom of movement, which is perfect for active wear. However, one significant drawback I encountered was that they run small. Despite ordering my usual size, I found the fit to be snug, especially around the waist and hips. This was disappointing, as I was hoping for a more comfortable fit. While the Women's Freedom Stretch Pants are undoubtedly well-made and stylish, I ultimately decided to return them. As someone who values warmth and comfort, I prefer the Women's Freedom Insulated Pants. The added insulation provides me with the extra warmth I need, especially during colder weather conditions. In conclusion, while the Women's Freedom Stretch Pants are a solid choice for those seeking flexibility and style, potential buyers should be aware of the sizing issue. If warmth is a priority for you, I would recommend considering the Women's Freedom Insulated Pants instead.

Comfy and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for snow activities. I started to gain a little in the middle and these fit well without making me feel like I had to buy a size up. Love the quality of North Face products. It was great to use my rewards on this purchase.
