[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this jacket for our trip to Chicago, where rain was expected. The jacket was roomy and comfortable (not too tight across the shoulders, sleeves aren't too tight, jacket hangs at just the right length). I wish it had underarm zippers for better airflow - the jacket held heat in, making my skin feel sticky against the inside of the jacket. I love that the pockets are cut so the rain doesn't drain in, and the front zipper has velcro patches to keep the zipper dry. It would be nice if the hood packed up inside the neck of the jacket but its not too bad hanging down as is. Overall, I'm glad I have the jacket and would recommend it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket looks great and I'm sure it will perform well and keep me dry. I have another North Face rain jacket in an XXL that is a bit smaller in the midsection and this jacket in a 2X gave me the extra room I wanted so I could wear a thicker layer underneath and not just a t-shirt, however please, please can companies realize that some women have broad shoulders. The room through the shoulder area feels the same as my XXL and I was really hoping the 2X would be a little roomier. I'm going the keep the jacket because I can't size up or the midsection will be too large, and I can't buy mens for the extra shoulder space because they have no hips. Overall it fits pretty well, and it will be great for every day wear, but I hate the feeling that if I move just a bit too far trying to be more active, I'm going rip out of it like the hulk. I would still recommend this jacket, but beware if you have linebacker shoulders like me, it might be a little snug.
Love this jacket so much! It's my go-to for everything I do! It blocks the wind so well and it is just so so comfortable! I highly recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my jacket! The sleeves (around the wrists) aren't as wide as they look in the picture which I'm thankful for. It's a nice length in the arms and torso as I'm always concerned about that cause i'm 5'1 and models are 5'8 and taller so what seems short on them is long on me. I did pull the string on the side that helped with the "open hang." Gave it more a fitted look. I want another one like yesterday! It's warmer than I thought it'd be so cause it's lightweight ..but I'll definitely be purchasing again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently went to Alaska and was searching for a rain jacket. This one did not disappoint! I heard other people around me saying their rain coats only kept them dry for the first 30 minutes. We walked around for a few hours and it rained most of the time, I was dry! Being plus size, the fit on my arms was a little snug but fine and it zipped up with ease. I will be purchasing the longer rain jacket in the near future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time buying this brand, I was looking for a lightweight jacket for the spring here in Maine and so far I'm very happy with it and is now my favorite. I have worn it in the rain and wind and it has kept me dry. The sizing is true to size I love the fit and look. Another comment mentioned it was too noisy, it's the material, I don't find it a problem. I'm very happy I bought it well worth the money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was grateful for the previous comments about sizing as I used the information to order. I love the color. I normally wear a 2X but ordered the 3X based on comments. The 3X fit me well in the upper arm/under arm area but was much too big everywhere else. I then ordered a 2X. The 2X fits tighter under my arm and on my upper arm and is not quite as comfortable but the rest fits better so I returned the 3X.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time buying this brand. I was looking for a light jacket to wear now spring is arriving in Maine. So far I'm very happy and this is my favorite. I have worn it in the rain and when it's been very windy and it has kept me dry. The sizing fits true to size and another review mentioned it was to noisy of a jacket, it's the material and I don't mind it so I don't find it an issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the lightweight nature of this jacket. It is definitely comfortable against the wind but I haven't yet tried it in the rain! I can easily fold it up and carry it in my backpack; the hood is nice to have too. The only thing I am not super happy with are the pockets - their configuration makes it a bit tricky easily accessing the inside. Overall I recommend this jacket!
