Way too tall
Loves the colour but did not come as it looked in the picture. The width was way too small so it made it look like I was wearing an elf hat due to height.

Works for me but can see it might not for everyone
I've had other winter hats but always noticed wind gets through and I still feel cold, especially at night (in Canada). noticed the other beanie hats from this company and checked the site for a heavier duty one and I found this one. I saw some reviews saying it wasn't as stretchy, it was too small or tight, didn't fit and was concerned but took a risk after looking at the product dimensions and measurements of my head. It was a bit tight when I first put it on but comfortable that first wear. Then second and third wear were quite comfortable and I didn't notice too much tightness. There is some tightness but it keeps out the cold and is pretty comfy. The yarn isn't itchy and is quite warm. In fact, I've been outside in negative double digit weather and my head didn't feel anything. This was what I was looking for. Although it does make you sweat if you're indoors and sometimes if your outside. So it's not a body temperature regulating type of hat that keeps you from overheating. It does get warm if it's not cold. It fits my head pretty well but I don't have a hugve head and can see how this wouldn't fit other heads. It doesnt really stretch that much and does have a firmness in it's stretch after a certain point. The fold is higher than normal beanies, it looks fine but that's somethiing to note if you don't like that style. It's nine inches tall with the double cuff so I leaves some space at the top of your head. You can also fold it a thrid time to have a fisherman's beanie type look. Overall I got what I needed in this hat and I'm satisfied.
