Meets my expectations
The versatility is excellent. Make a little or a lot! Easy to clean. Easy to keep at hand. Very satisfied customer. Light enough to not bother any hand or wrist pain. Durable! I tend to drop things a lot due to weakness of hands and wrists.
Way better than keureg
Really like it, ranks way higher than a keureg in my opinion
Yeti vs Clever pour over
The Yeti pour over doesn't work like a Clever pour over. The Yeti pour over doesn't allow grinds to brew like my Clever pour over. The Yeti pour over simply allows hot water to pour straight into a cup unlike my Clever which is designed to allow grinds to brew and when you're ready you sit the Clever on top of your cup which then allows the brewed coffee to flow into the cup. The Yeti has to be on top of your cup (with the proper filter of course) because it does not have a mechanism to allow brewing resulting in a weak cup of coffee. I am very disappointed with the device. The only reason I bought it was to match the color of my red Yeti coffee cup that I bought with it. I writing this review to make others aware of the design flaw. It looks good but it's useless.
The perfect cup of coffee
I've been making french press coffee for awhile and just started dabbling with pour over. I have a metric ton of ground coffee and that's terrible in a french press so i wanted to give this a shot. I'm thrilled with how simple it is. The clean up is fast and the coffee tastes great! The device itself is well made. I use it with a 14oz cup and it fits perfectly. If you're at all thinking of getting a single serving pour over setup I highly recommend this.
Inspired Pour over
My favorite way to brew coffee. I like the SS material much better than plastic or silicone brewers. Doesn't collapse or get micro plastic in my coffee. Easy for me to clean, I just rinse under water after each use. The metal does get cold so I preheat with hot water before use, sometimes 😜.
Watery pour
Build is solid, what else would you expect. There were no instructions included. A competitor online showed similar build and instructed to pour water to top of paper filters 3x and coffee would be ready. Well it was weak dark water. Really would be to place small amounts of waster over several minutes to allow it to steep. Like a normal pour over. The base hascsobgke opening which is huge. Most of the pour overs I have used have very fine mesh to pour water in and after a couple of uses get pretty plugged. Will attempt again with slow pour to check results.
Rescue Red!
I have many Yeti products and couldn't wait to add this to my collection. This Yeti Pour Over is built tuff and ready for whatever you may throw at it! I have quite a few brewtensils to extract the nectar of the magical coffee bean. This Pour Over looks and feels like it can take a beating. It cleans up very well. Honestly it makes coffee the same as similar products, but this one just plain looks way cool. The Rescue Red Yeti Pour Over is in my daily travel kit (Yeti lunch box) so I can brew a single cup whenever I want at work. I am giving this 4 stars due to the lack of me putting it through some more difficult outdoor challenges. I am looking forward to doing just that. I’m sure it will measure up to all of the other Yeti products I have.
Awesome option for home and travel
Great option, especially for travel. Worked perfectly. No issues with filter tearing as other reviews mention or leaking. The sides are shorter than a Hario V60, but not an issue, just a note. If using no. 2 V60 paper filters they will stick up past the side of this. Build is solid and should last a long time.
The good and the bad.
It keeps the liquid really hot, which is nice. However, I thought it would be bigger (it is a size 2 filter) and the hole at the bottom is so large that if you pour your water with gusto the filter will rip through and grounds go everywhere. You have to pour your water SLOW, otherwise there is disaster. Overall, I like it- no microplastics in my coffee now (we used to have a plastic one of these) and the look of the thing is very clean and it seems like it will last a long time.
YETI Pour-Over Aesthetics
This is a really high quality unit. There seems to be no voids where moisture would be retained. The shape of the bottom promotes stability on many different diameter cups and reverse airflow has been accounted for. It could be used as a camp light if it had an accessory or modification. It also is a dry goods funnel. Good job making a unit that is seemingly the most indestructable v60 device available in the market.
