Writing my first ever REI review because of how much I love these shoes. My partner was able to snatch two overnight tickets for us to summit Mt. Whitney (highest peak in the continental US), so I needed to buy shoes last-minute after destroying my years-long Merrells after hiking Big Pine Lakes. I decided to switch it up and give these a try. Bought them on Thursday night and planned to summit Mt. Whitney that Saturday. Zero time to break them in and let me just say, I walked through small amounts of water, mud, snow, and tons of large + small rocks and they were so great! No blisters. No feet pain. Super comfortable. Great grip. Very cute. True to size. Hiked over 20 miles in the course of two days with these, including summiting Mt. Whitney, and I’m so glad I purchased them. Price was a little high but my hiking shoes last me years! Worth it!
