[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband needed a fresh new pair of walking shoes.I decided to get him Brooks Ghost Max 3’s as I thought he could wear them on his daily walks. For the last few weeks, my husband has been wearing his new pair of shoes every day. He likes the shoes design. It’s current and modern. He likes the shoes fit and feel. They are true-to-size and comfortable to wear. His favorite thing about the shoes is how well made they are. All the fabrics and materials are of high quality. His least favorite thing is how the shoes are not available in a variety of different colors. If given the opportunity, my husband would highly recommend Brooks Ghost Max 3’s. As he loves wearing his new pair of shoes on his daily walks.
I was a trail runner for many years. My running days are over due to arthritis and a pinched nerve in my hip. But I still hike and walk almost every day. These shoes are FANTISTIC! 1) Plenty of room for my toes- very important. 2) Your heels DO NOT slip even after wearing them for 3-4 hours. 3) Extremely supportive while at the same time feeling cush- just what everyone needs. Did I mention they look good? How much do I like these shoes? I'm buying another pair when they go on sale so I'll have them when these wear out.
These shoes are comfortable, and I love the overall design. However, the color in person is a bit different than what I expected from the photos. The “tea” or “khaki” tone shown online looks more like a neutral tan, but in real life it leans even more greenish or even olive almost like a muted chartreuse. It’s not a bad color, just not as versatile as I hoped. I originally bought them thinking they’d pair well with most of my tan, khaki, and charcoal outfits, but the green tint makes them a little trickier to match, especially if you can only get 1-2 pairs of nice shoes a year. Still keeping them because the gradient design is unique, just be aware that the color might show up differently in person depending on your wardrobe.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These chunky cushioned Ghost Max 3s are a winner for my wide feet. I don't have experience with its predecessor but I can only imagine this was probably a step up. Wide toebox, comfortable mesh upper and the DNA Loft 3 midsole provided me with all day comfort. Fresh out of the box, I went out for a day on my feet, carting our son around an outdoor amusement park. Generally, with softer shoes, my legs feel some fatigue, but that wasn't the case with these! The padding around the heel was particularly cushy. Overall, I can't recommend these enough!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had plantar fasciitis, and the Ghost Max shoes have made a huge difference. Since wearing them, I’m way less likely to get a flare-up and when it does happen, it’s shorter and way less painful. What I love: - Wide fit (finally something for my big, fat feet 😅) - Super comfy and supportive - Look sleek and cool not like “orthotic” shoes - The material is breathable, and hasn’t stretched or dirtied up over time - Solid! tons of outsole rubber and that wide base mean they hold up forever even after long walks! - They feel surprisingly lightweight. - The new Ghost Max 3 is a clear upgrade, smoother, better version of the already-great v2 Only tip: go true to size or slightly shorter not longer. I’ve got four pairs now. Safe to say I’m hooked!
Fits slightly wider than the original ghost max. Upper feels cheap. Still fits the same niche as a training shoe.
I have been running in Brooks Ghost for a while but in the past 3 years I have had 3 knee injuries all requiring surgery. Recently I was able to run the “Tillman Clocktower 5K” just because of the Ghost Max 3! Amazing shoe that allowed me to finish 6 in my age group. Next year I’ll be able to train better (and more) due to this shoe. Hopefully I’ll be closer to the top!
For the last month I have tried and returned hokas and on clouds , after they all managed to hurt my feet and not provide enough stability for my pronation. I tried these on in the store and instantly knew they were the one. I am an avid walker and am on my feet all day. I do a mixed variety of street and lots of trail walking. These have so much support and stability that it makes walking on any terrain easy. I absolutely love the material of the tongue, laces, upper and midsole. I personally found that the more I wear these the comfier they get. I actually found myself forgetting to take them on when I get home because they are so comfortable. I got them in primer grey ( best color imo ) and when I find something in life that works best for me I always get another pair of that, so I returned my on clouds I recently got and got another pair of Ghost Max 3’s in the all black. I also think these are aesthetically pleasing. 5/5 !!
I've been wearing Ghosts for a few years now and never had a problem. I can't run in this pair without getting a blister. I've tried different socks and tried adjusting the way I tie the laces, but I just can't run in these shoes. I love Brooks and have bought many pair over the last few years to include trail shoes, tempo shoes, a pair for daily wear as well as a pair with a carbon plate, but I just bought a different brand of shoe today because I just can't get this pair to fit right.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the past month or so I’ve been testing a white pair of Brooks Ghost Max 3’s and I can say any issues with the 2 have been fixed. I found the shoe true to size and the sole extremely comfortable. Even shoes which are comparably smaller, the Ghost Max 3’s felt lighter on my feet and provided more cushion on my road runs. I put about 20 miles on these after wearing them casually for two weeks to break them in. I will say, they are large and clunky looking however, the function is on point. I would not use these to wear on purpose for an outfit, but it surely is in my running rotation.
