Better than Ghost Max 2

For me, this is an improvement over Ghost Max 2 which left me feeling on the shoe rather than in the shoe. GM3 is slightly wider (thank goodness). I wish it were still a tad longer (or maybe my foot a tad shorter). The lateral stability seems better than GM2 and also better cushioning. I am considering a second pair but waiting a little longer to see how it breaks in and holds up. I am not running but work in a very busy therapy clinic and on my feet constantly and they are way more comfy than the GM2 or the Glycerin GTS that I recently returned.

They’re HUGE. Feels like running in a marshmallow. I don’t understand these “Max” versions because they’re nothing like the original version of the shoe. I got a ripple under the bottom lace because I had to cinch them so tight to make them fit, and I got a crease on the toe of the shoe after ONE MILE. The length of my true size was fine, the sole felt awesome and plush, but the shoe fit horribly on the upper. I’ve never stopped and walked the remainder of my run because my shoes were irritating me so badly, that’s exactly what I did with these. Returned. Don’t reply to me Brooks, get your quality control in line. I should be able to order my size in a shoe and it fits me but everything is all over the place.

Although the look and color was good, the comfort was not. I originally bought the Ghost Max and loved them. They fit me perfectly and was sooo comfortable. Before the Ghost Max, I had to wear insoles to get comfort for my feet. I was so happy with the original Ghost Max. I tried the Ghost Max 2 and Ghost Max 3, but they started to hurt my heels and feet and then my back started to hurt. I was so bummed that they didn't work for me. I understand they have to upgrade them for the runners, but for those of us who need them to walk in daily, bring back the original Ghost Max PLEASE!!!

Really wanted to like this shoe, I loved the OG and the Ghost Max 2, sadly the 3 changed most of what I liked about them. The last is no longer flat but curves up around the edge, many other shoes do too, and they hurt my feet. The heel is wide, so my heels slip. And they are firmer, just uncomfortable for my picky sensitive feet. Returned back to Brooks, thanks to their Happy Feet guarantee. Hoping the next generation is better for me:)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ghost max 3 sneakers are lightweight, comfortable and give lots of support whether you’re on a treadmill or taking them for a spin outdoors. I have a lot of issues finding shoes that support my feet, since they are slightly wider, but these were just the ticket. Long term, these shoes will definitely last, with one exception, they are white. If you are one that fears white shoes and keeping them clean, have no fear. The fabric was super easy to spot treat and doesn’t crease due to the light mesh material.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these shoes. I have an all white pair and they stay relatively clean (surprisingly) given the conditions I put them through. I wear them as my every day shoes and they have a great amount of cushion. I recently had a trip to Disney/Universal where I was on my feet ALL DAY, and they were great for that. My feet didn’t hurt nearly as much as they usually do. Highly recommend! Super functional, comfortable, and very cute. *The pictures I added are post Disney/Universal trip.

The shoe is nice, but for some reason, it is not as comfortable as I thought it would be. Generally, Brooks shoes are very comfortable, but not this style. It also seems to run a little smaller, but a larger size in this style would be too big for me.

I highly enjoy the ghost max 3! I was super excited when the 3 came out. There’s enough cushion but not so much to where I feel like I’m on an odd cloud. Ghosts are my go to running shoe! My only wish…more colors. :-)

I did not purchase these shoes for running. I am a Registered Nurse and needed a supportive shoe with a wider toe bed. These shoes met those needs and my feet and legs are much more comfortable at the end of the day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to try the Brooks Ghost Max 3 thinking I would not like them as much as my usual go to shoes. BUT I really like them. I’ve walked around doing usual errands, I’ve used them at the gym and gone on my daily outside walks. The fit is true to size and they feel great. They do feel a little heavy as the heel bottom of the shoes are thicker than what I’m used to. Overall I would buy these as a walking or everyday shoe.
