Excellent quality coat

I am 5 foot 10, 165 pounds and I purchased a size medium. The coat fits perfectly, looks beautiful. Seems to be of very high quality. It’s summertime so I haven’t been able to try its effectiveness in high wind or heavy rain. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Unreal Jacket

One of the warmest jackets that I’ve ever owned. Wore it motorcycle riding along Victoria BC beach drive on a cool, windy, September night (I know I didn’t dress for the slide) and I was toasty warm the whole time!! Only had my tank top underneath! I’m sub 10% body fat by the way, I get cold very easily. Mesh panels were no issue, I felt no significant breeze wafting through the jacket riding at high speeds on a cool, West Coast September evening. Rather, the panels add breathability in venting “excess heat”, keeping the jacket comfortably warm given the elements I used it in Fit is unreal. Modern, slim cut that sits at waist (with waist cinches), cuffs that fall right at my wrist (I have long arms for my height). Size medium and I can wear it over long and short sleeve shorts, fits brilliantly well under my Alpha SV. Looks great on its own with virtually anything (I have the black one). Wore it in a bar were they sat me next to the open door, wore it unzipped no problems Water beads off in the rain (DWR coating), however I would not trust it on its own in sustained downpours. Nice, large zippered pockets and a large interior stash pocket. Great storage and utility. However not necessarily “packable” like other synthetic down coats. A sacrifice for the overall loftiness of the jacket Was not expecting this level of warmth, comfort, style and utility. The price is very fair for what this coat offers from where Arc Teryx currently is as a “premium” outdoor brand Would buy again and will wear A LOT this fall/winter
