It might not be the biggest flashlight but it's super bright. But the downside is that when you have it on bright setting it goes dead SUPER quick. Won't go dead as fast on the dim setting but it doesn't quiet do the trick when it comes to visibility. It's just not bright enough. I thought the battery was pretty cool though I haven't seen a battery with a C-Type charger built into it before so I'm curious to see how long the battery lasts. Overall I do think it is a very handy flashlight. Just not something you would want if you need it for longer than about 20 minutes straight. That's how long it took to go dead from being fully charged.
The G22R is a fantastic flashlight. Its compact size makes it easy to slip into your pocket, ensuring that you can carry it with you at all times. I've always appreciated the option to use either batteries or USB to charge the light. This feature is especially helpful if you find yourself without a power supply or running low on batteries. The flashlight has two modes: high and low. In high mode, it provides 150 lumens, creating a bright beam for your targeted area. In low mode, it emits 50 lumens, which is perfect for tight spaces where light is limited or when you want to remain discreet. Personally, I find it very useful at night in my car as I always seem to be dropping things in between the seats. I must say, this little light is well-made, just like all the other products from Coast Portland. It is convenient, affordable, and comes with a lifetime warranty. Additionally, I always enjoy communicating with Coast Portland. As a loyal Coast customer, I can confidently say that the G22R is a great flashlight to add to your Coast collection. You can't go wrong with it!
When I initially saw the G22R, I didn’t have very high expectations, mainly because the small flashlights I’ve used in the past from other sources might as well have been disposable. I was completely wrong. The G22R packs a ton of power and innovation features into a tiny package. I should know by now that any product from Coast is far superior to similar items I have used. The G22R is a perfect choice for everyday carrying when you don’t want to pack a larger light but like to be prepared for any situation. The small size makes it nearly unnoticeable when carrying but when needed it performs above expectations. Couple that with the built-in power option and Coast’s unique and convenient rechargeable batteries and there is no comparison.
I am part of the field tester program and put the g22r to the test. First off let me start by saying thank you to Coast for allowing me to be part of their field tester program, it's an honor. The g22r is probably the best mini pocket flashlight that I have ever used, it fits perfectly in my pocket next to my knife that I have on me at all times, thanks to the clip on this flashlight makes for easy access and comfortable to wear all day. I use a flashlight alot throughout the day, I had to recently repair my shower valve and the g22r came in very handy and reliable I dropped it several times (not due to any part of the light but operator error) throughout the change of the valve as well as got it wet and is still currently working without hesitation. If you are looking for a handy pocket flashlight that's durable and reliable this one is free.
This is a small inspection light. Just what I needed. Does not weigh me down when in my pocket. Easy enough to whip out when I need it. Bright enough, but it is no spotlight
This light is fantastic, and is a perfect example of why Coast consistently delivers. First of all, the approach to power is brilliant!! It comes with a small battery that plugs into a USB C cable. Having this use the same port as my phone is a game changer. The light has two modes, and I find both useful. At full power, this throws an incredible amount of light. Battery life at full power is exceeded my expectations. I’m not light on my lights. With this being so compact, it quickly became part of my everyday carry. When outside at night, I found the less powerful of the two modes to be an adequate amount of light for me, which provides an impressive amount of run time out of such a small battery. While using this during fishing, it did take an accidental bath. It wasn’t in the water long, but I was nervous. No issues to report, the light functioned fine right away and I dried it off that night. I try to be balanced in my reviews, but i honestly don’t have any suggestions for improvement or gripes. It’s a fantastic light at a great price, and I expect it will serve me well for years to come.
Super bright I in a small space the battery doesn't last very long so you definitely going to want to buy batteries but they I'm glad they rechargeable
A handy flashlight with bright light and a rechargeable battery. Keeping for emergencies.
