Almost perfect

My boyfriend and I had done so much research to find the perfect filtered water bottle and were a bit reluctant to spend the money because it was a bit pricey but we knew we were investing in our health so we purchased one each. The bottle is great, love the design, colours, how long it keeps water cold for and you can really tell the difference in the water, However…. We were pretty disappointed that we couldn’t drink the whole 1L bottle of filtered water. The last 10% of water where the filter doesn’t reach so you end up drinking the last 10% unfiltered. But that’s the only down side, hopefully the next upgrade improves on this.

Great bottle but careful with altitude changes

This is my first bottle with integrated filtration. It looks and works great and yes, it is on the heavy side, but if you want an integrated filter and a stainless steel body to keep your water cool all day long this is the price to pay. No big deal in my opinion. If this is your first encounter with a filtration bottle, like it was for me, just be aware that altitude changes have a more dramatic effect than with regular bottles and you’ll have to completely open the bottle before taking off the cap and drinking, otherwise you will be showered. It takes some adjusting to remember that, but other than that this is a great product.

I was hopeful

I REALLY wanted to like this and tried for over a week to get the hang of it. For the life of me I couldn't get water (or enough to satisfy a gulp) through that straw!! I know that straw/filter is there to filter the yuckies and I greatly appreciate that but I had to suck SO hard to get any water out that i just ended up opening the top and drinking straight from the canister which then had the filter dripping everywhere since I had to hold it. I also had a hard time opening the screw on cap. My old Hydroflask had a really helpful "loop" on the cap where your fingers would sit and help with the amount of force to open it.

Keeps water cold for hours!

I already own an older 1L LifeStraw bottle that I have had for years, but it is plastic, and doesn’t keep the water cold. So I was looking for a bottle that would accomplish this, and saw the stainless steel 1L bottle and ordered it because I know what I would be getting. I fillet with water and put it in the fridge so when I need it, it’s already cold and it keeps water cold for hours. The only small issue I have is, that it doesn’t fit in my cup holder. But it seems spill proof so far. That alone is not enough to ding what is otherwise a great heavy duty thermal bottle. Price is on par, and cheaper than the big names, and with LifeStraw, you know what you are getting!

There’s always pros and cons, but I like it!

The cup itself is amazing. My water tastes so fresh and I like that. However the cup is hard to unscrew after use. We had to 2 man it every time. Also the ice and water don’t stay cold for very long. I’ve had a few cold cups and I am losing longevity for flavor and health benefits so it’s a win but I’m used to having cold water for at least 2 days with previous cups. I love my cup though I wouldn’t trade it at all.

I love the concept

It is well made and if you use straws it is great. I love the filtering, brought this camping and it was great but I dislike having to suck through a straw and the inability to pour any filtered water out. I love and exclusively use my at home life straw filter water dispenser.

No thought for elderly, disabled, or chronically ill folk

The design of the bottle isn’t great, especially for anyone who struggles with motor function. Just opening the bottle was a challenge. The screw top loop & a really thin area to grip on the nozzle assures that anyone with joint pain/instability cannot open it. It’s also difficult to suck through the straw. On top of this, the bottle is just unwieldy. It should probably be skinnier than it is currently, because I cannot even hold it with one hand, unless by the loop. The design of the bottle is so unfriendly to disabled folks that I have to go back to using a hydroflask because I genuinely cannot open the bottle without help- and i only have a little arthritis and small hands as a 27yo.

Fabulous

I love this bottle. Water tastes great and stays cold. I wish the cap had a rubber finish of sorts- something to make it grippy as it is difficult to unscrew due to the width and smoothness. I also just think it would have a better feel than the hard plastic material currently being used. Hire me to design this upgraded cap im envisioning!

LOVE it

The only reason I hadn’t bought the original Go Series water bottle was because I didn’t like the exposed straw so when I saw they’d redesigned it I was immediately excited. It is THE perfect water bottle l, I love that I can fill it up anywhere and still get quality filtered water and the stainless steel is amazing.
