Snug, supportive, comfy sandals
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfy sandal and a nice, neutral color. Most of my sandals are black (just me) so I went out on a limb for these. They’ll go very nicely with my summer wardrobe. I haven’t worn them anywhere except in the house, it’s winter here, but I look forward to making these my go to sandals this summer. They have a nice, cushy sole and they are just snug enough that I’m not “slapping” my heel very time I take a step.
design change?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned multiple pairs of these sandals over the years (think they "vent" in the name) and have always loved them. I generally have 2 pairs, 1 to kick around in the yard, walk the dog, dig in the dirt etc and 1 to wear in public. They were very comfortable, stayed securely on my foot and last for years; perfect for a narrow foot and the side opening allowed for the bunion I have on 1 foot. I finally wore through the sole of the sandal this summer (7+ years old?) and wanted to replace them. The sizing was perfect but the updated design are extremely uncomfortable (for me) and the soles squeaked obnoxiously. Very disappointed that Columbia decided to "update" what was previously a excellent sandal.
Toe strap a little long
Very comfortable sandal, except for personal preference of the toe strap being too long for my short "big" toe! This really is personal preference, and not a game changer that would make me return them, just really a matter of getting used to the way they feel when I wear them. I purchased the white sandal, and they are already showing a lot of discoloration on the foot pad, and I'm pretty weird about keeping my feet clean. They have gotten wet and the shoe did not become discolored or smell funky, which is a plus as these are what I slip into to make quick trips out of the house, or slip on to wear home after a trail run so I'm not wearing soggy shoes. Size runs true, and they fit good, I just have short toes!
My favorite walking shoe for years
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordering my 4th pair. This sandal is perfect for the tropics. Use for walking my dogs and everything else. They have been thrown in the washing machine countless times. I would be lost without them
Go 2 shoes! Lost 1 star cause last pair had issue
By far my go to every day sandle. I’ve been wearing these for over 10 years. I had one pair for about 8 years. I wore them saltwater fishing, hanging on boats at the lake, every day, my go to summer shoes. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because my last pair the sole came apart and the fabric isn’t as good of quality as it was. I glued the sole with special sole glue and I will buy another pair, I just hope Columbia doesn’t discontinue these and ensures their quality meets their standards and reputation. Don’t skimp on quality it’s just not the Columbia brand standard.
Relief that look great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only sandal I can wear. Just bought forth pair once I realized I could adapt them for my problem feet to use arch supports support bunions an cover hammer toe
SO DISAPOINTED! They changed the design.
SO DISAPOINTED!! You changed the design!! No more molded footbed, no more padded arch and you made it wider and the strap bigger, so now they no longer fit my feet. Old design: molded footbed and padded arch for comfort, strap 4", width of shoe 2 3/4". New design: No molded footbed or padded arch support, strap 5", width of shoe 3 1/4". Not nearly as comfortable and made for a MUCH thicker foot. BRING BACK THE OLD DESIGN!!! I LOVED these sandals. I have had numerous pairs of them over the last several years and now mine are wearing out so I brought four more pair. I am soooo disappointed! PLEASE bring back the old design with the molded footbed, padded arch support and narrower shoe and strap. if you do, I will buy 100!
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, we will be sure to pass this information to the appropriate teams for future improvement.
BOUGHT IN EVERY COLOR!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in flip flops and absolutely LOVE the Kea II Sandal. I walk the dogs, do my errands, garden - everything wearing these sandals. They are so comfortable and like all the Columbia products I have purchased, very well made. I bought the orange ones first and two of my friends immediately bought the same pair after seeing mine and trying them on. I went back and bought the other two colors plus another orange pair - that's how much I love them. I was a bit concerned with the toe slide for the big toe but I actually love this feature as it stops your foot from slipping around like it can do in regular flip flops. And when they get dirty, I rinse them off with the outdoor hose and the dry very quickly. Highly recommend!
Beware, New but NOT Imprived!
I own a dozen + pairs of these Columbia sandals. Have worn them since 2006 after a botched foot surgery. The arch support is my saving grace, can wear them all day w/o pain. Just ordered 2 pairs only to discover they’ve redesigned and eliminated the best feature, the padded arch support. These feel like a cheap knock off of the real thing. I agree with one of the previous reviewers, why mess with a winner? Please return to the original design and quality that built your stellar reputation.
Love these sandals!
I have a pair of these I have worn for years. Just got a new pair and like them even more! They have increased the width of the strap on the instep a little and it gives better support, as my left ankle tends to fall inward. These sandals are so comfortable and with the toe ring, they stay on my feet without having to scrunch up my toes when I walk. They don't bother my knees, which other flips do. I wear a 12 and the 12 fits fine. I hope Columbia keeps making these!
