Great pad for the price, give it a shot!
Just got this to try it out, read the reviews on the previous version and kinda wanted to give this one a shot. I’m 6’0 230 and my girlfriend is 5’0 110. We both fit with room to spare including our dog. The new pump this ones comes with is solid and can be used for multiple things and is USB C rechargeable so great to charge in the car if you forget batteries. Definitely do not use under 40 degrees F because the R value is low and doesn’t have insulation. We got it down to about 45 at night and that’s the coldest I’d take it. If you need to just make sure to put a couple pads underneath or bundle up. We both were in a double sleeping bag with the pup so we were plenty warm Give it a shot. Not the cushiest or the warmest but it was comfortable for us and we both got good sleep, packs up relatively small compared to other double pads (granted this ones not foam/self inflating/or padded) also a solid pump that can be used for everything at camp and USB C rechargeable. My girlfriend has never camped and with it being her first time it got the approval so hope this helps since there aren’t any reviews on it yet!
Worst Night Sleep
The only good thing about this mattress is the price. My husband and I thought we were getting a great deal, but in the end it cost us 3 nights of sleep. The mattress does NOT stay inflated. You can inflate it to the max amount and it will deflate within two hours. By the middle of the night it felt like we were on a waterbed and every time one of us would move the other would roll with the bed. Spend the extra $100 and buy something that will stay inflated and last.
Good if you don’t care about comfort
I bought this in a pinch because the price was right and needed something for a two-night trip. We have used other camp air mattresses before and thought we’d be fine, boy were we wrong. I’ll start with the good. Packs down small, quick to inflate, included rechargeable pump, but that’s it. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the worst nights sleep I’ve ever had. The groves in the top of the mattress were go pronounced and bumpy it felt like I had something digging into my hips and chest all night. My partner has back problems and likes a firmer mattress, but no matter how much we filled it up, it deflated very quickly. The top material did nothing to prevent our sleeping bags from sliding off in the middle of the night. My partner was so uncomfortable he slept on the ground the second night and said it was more comfortable. The price might be tempting but trust me, skip over this one.
Popped
We bought this on our second camping trip and it pooped after 3 uses, it wasn’t even fully inflated and our dog walked across it. His nails were trimmed well, it made for a very uncomfortable night. Our old kelty lasted 4 years and multiple trips.
Integrated Pillow?!?
It's not horrible... But it's not good. Whomever decided an 'integrated pillow' was a good idea was wrong. Just wrong. I slept with my feet hanging off it just to avoid the raised portion. BECAUSE I HAVE A PILLOW. ;-}
