Tried out the new Trestles Elite Eco Series and was highly impressed with it's comfort and warmth. Fantastic that it compresses down so tightly and is so light. Both my husband and son enjoyed it and we plan on purchasing the kid's one specifically for our future Cub Scouting adventures. Giving this product an overall 4 stars. While it is comfortable, our only critique is that it could be "wider". There is an extra-wide option, which we didn't get, but will in the future. The sleeping bag performed as expected and this critique is only to improve upon the existing comfort and amazingness of this sleeping bag.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great bag. I'm glad Marmot is caring on the Trestle program. This is not my first Trestles bag, and definitely won't be my last. Being 6'1" is tough and this bag (long) doesn't feel like there is TOO much extra material and that they thoughtfully sized this bag properly. Super warm and easy to unzip in the middle of the night if you need to get some air. Sometimes the hotdogs, beans, and S'mores keep talking.... very good weight to warmth ratio.
Took this 20-degree synthetic sleeping bag into the wild, expecting to freeze like a sad granola bar. Instead? Toastier than a squirrel in a sauna. Zipped myself in and immediately forgot about the cold, my regrets, and the raccoon watching me eat trail mix. Only downside: getting out of it in the morning feels like breaking up with the coziest relationship you've ever had. 10/10 would hibernate again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleeping bag is light weight and easily rolls into the bag for storage. Not bulky like traditional sleeping bags. It is large enough to fit my husband who is 6’5”. Soft material on the outside and very comfortable. For winter it will be nice for colder weather camping but is also comfortable enough for summer camping as well.
Love this sleeping bag! It’s super lightweight (I would be happy to take it backpacking) and cozy, it will definitely keep you warm. The pocket inside is a must and the zippers are super easy to get to and I didn’t have any problems with them catching on the fabric. I definitely recommend this!
This is a great general cold weather sleeping bag. I used to have a NEMO bag but I recently replaced it with this Marmot bag, and it is always something I look forward to climbing into each night when in the backcountry. The zippers are smooth and practical, and don't dig into my side at night. It is lofty and light, and extremely warm. The synthetic fill and shell don't get smelly when on long trips and dry very fast. It is also suitable in non-winter weather, as when opening it up it still stays warm but allows you to control warmth.
I’m super impressed with this sleeping bag! Designed for cold weather, I expected it to be bulky and heavy, but it’s the complete opposite, this bag is sleek and very lightweight. The Trestles Elite Eco 20 provides excellent warmth for winter conditions while remaining versatile enough for use in cooler temperatures. In addition to its impressive insulation, this bag is packed with thoughtful features. The built-in headrest adds extra comfort and support, making it even cozier for a good night’s sleep. Plus, the functional zipper works seamlessly from both the inside and outside, making it easy to adjustment without hassle. It’s easy to store, incredibly comfortable, and offers outstanding value for the price—a great investment for any outdoor enthusiast.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sleeping bag is perfect not just for hikers, but also for campers of all kinds. It's been great for our tent camping trips—especially on cooler nights when paired with our Coleman cot—and just as comfortable in our camper on the pull-out bed. We really appreciate the large, durable zipper, and the high-quality fabric and well-stitched seams make it both cozy and reliable. Our family will definitely get a lot of use out of it. Overall, a great value and an excellent purchase!
I had a backpacking trip I was prepping for on a budget. I kept looking for an affordable Down bag as mine was getting long in the tooth. Money has been tight lately so I just could justify spending too much on a new bag. I was about to give up hope until I came across this Marmot Trestles Elite Eco bag. I had a friend I would go on trips with use this bag before and had some good things to say so I thought I would give it a try. It absolutely did not disappoint! Not only did it not break the bank but honestly, I think this stacks up to down bags I have used in the past. Kind of surprised to get that performance out of a synthetic bag. It compressed just as well and I didn't think was any heavier. I slept really well on the trip...not sure if that was the comfort of the bag or the money savings. 10/10 from me!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weight alone is a huge seller. After fitting this bag into my hiking backpack, I could barely even tell it was there. The material is also soft and comfortable to lay on and feels like it warms up immediately after entering it! If you're looking for a sleeping bag that's just as warm as a heavy-duty bag but 1/10th the weight, try this one out! I was very impressed with this sleeping bag overall and I plan to use it on all my future hiking / camping trips!
