Missing basic accessories
The material of the fleece is ok, although I have seen much better on other products. The colors of the stripes are nice and it brightens up the jacket. The problem is that the pockets are missing zippers (pretty standard on most fleece jackets at this price). Also, no elastic at the bottom so you can adjust width, as a result jacket is sticking out in the front, hanging pretty badly. Would have given 4 stars if these two details had been present. Quite disappointing for this price range.
Very warm but check your sizing
Thicker than other fleece jackets from other popular brands, definitely warmer but keep thay in mind when layering. Also the size chart is universal on the website and hence not accurate. I was a medium in all their other fleece model jackets but in the teca i am a large. The Teca is a slim fit style fleece where their others are more standard and run true to size (im 5'9" 175). Luckily cotopaxi has an amazing free return service.
My 1st Cotopaxi
Love my first Cotopaxi product. I use it for my daily jacket. I live in the Southwest and it has been a great jacket for cool mornings or late evenings in the desert. This jacket does run on the cooler side and you do feel a cool breeze cut through the jacket (if there is one), however I don’t believe it was designed to be a cool (three season) weather jacket. I might try it as a mid-layer and then update my review as needed.
Nice jacket but little too big on the size...
Great jacket! keep your warm. initially ordered medium but it was too tight around the chest area. Large size is too baggy but decided to keep it for more comfortable. I wish there was a in between size med-large. Also the Zipper sticks out unevenly at the neck but i'm not going to bother returning it again. I would recommend trying cotopaxi clothing on before buying them. Sizing is tricky.
First, I’m glad my daughter
First, I’m glad my daughter introduced me to this company. I bought this fleece jacket for my son-in-law as a Christmas present. The fit, design, color, and quality of the product are just great. I know he loves it because he’s been using it a lot. So I’m going to purchase another one for his coming birthday. I highly recommend this product.
A bit short for my build
Love the design and materials, but two bits of feedback: 1) I'm 6'0" but have a very wide back (and a bit of a belly), and the overall length is kind of short on me, especially if I reach for something (or but my arms up). 2) The blue in the picture seemed more vibrant than the actual fabric color.
Comfy and warm
I like this jacket. It is soft to the touch and keeps me warm on winter walks. Plus it looks sharp. The size runs a little small - I bought a Large based on the top measurements I would fit, but it was a little too snug. I returned it (no fuss) for an XL. The XL is a little loose in comparison.
Excellent fit and look
This is one of the nicest fleece jackets I’ve seen. Cotopaxis bright colors really pop in a way that works with the jacket. I got the brown one and love it. The fit is true to size (I’m a medium in most brands), and I found the cut to be pleasant too. Definitely a new favorite of mine!
Just excellent
I like the quality and softness of material. The stitching is good and strong. Jacket is super soft and the hood is sized perfect. A great fall/ mild winter day jacket. The design and colorways are top-notch. I absolutely love my Teca Fleece.
Must have
My husband has been wearing it every day since I gifted it to him. It light, warm, and the colors are so bright and fun. Washed it several times and it comes out like new each time too, no pilling or other issues at all.
