The Dash 450 Headlamp for running is fantastic! I used it on an early, cold trail run and was impressed by its performance. The different light beam settings were incredibly useful, and unlike other headlamps, it didn’t bounce around on my head—a common frustration for me. I also loved its lightweight design and the strong light exposure, which made those dark training days so much easier. I highly recommend it!

I have BioLite's 850 lumen headlamp for specific activitied (night ski touring, MTB), but for absolutely everything else the Dash 450 is what I want on my dome. It feels refined, well-balanced, and intuitive to use. It has been getting a good amount of use during these shorter winter days when I want to fit in an evening run before dinner. I don't go many places without this light...I throw it in my ski pack for emergencies, I toss it in the car for winter camping, and leave it hanging by the front door to grab for a late night dog walk or garage ski tuning session. It excels for its designated purpose as a running light, but all the attributes that make it so nice on the trails (comfortable headband, solid battery life, brightness) also make it nice for just about any use case.

I was primarily looking for a headlamp that would stay still on my head during late night/early morning runs. This ticks that box easily. The size is very small - the battery pack is nicely balanced and also doesn’t bounce around the back of my head while I’m running. The ONLY gripe I have is the size of the power button on the main light. It really is ridiculously small and hard to manipulate. I would go so far as to say one could forget about using this light in the cold when gloves are requisite. When I can actually manage to manipulate the button, the function is not intuitive - I have to refer to the manual. Dealbreaker? Not for me, but if your needs require constant light power cycling, then I would NOT recommend this light. Are you a non-ultra runner that needs an affordable head lamp? I wouldn’t recommend anything else!

This has been a great headlamp for running my neighborhood’s snow packed roads in the evening after work. It’s super lightweight and I love having both the front light with multiple brightness settings and a light on the back so cars can see me from a ways away. I also use it for late night dogs walks and it’s easy to throw in a pocket when I leave the house in case I am out past sunset. 10/10

Nice piece of gear for the quiver! Used a few times now, and has performed well. Pretty straightforward, and easy to use. Nice and bright for how compact bulb is. Rear red light is a nice added bit of safety to be seen from behind if running on or near roads. Unit seems to stay in place pretty well, and didn’t bounce around too much. Overall, I’d definitely recommend!

Early mornings + surprise alligators = no fun. There's two ways to avoid the Florida heat when running - by going very early or very late. I lean on the early side of things and beat the sun up for my mileage, but need a good headlamp to see the path and stay safe. Dash 450 is now that headlamp for me.

Don’t let the darkness slow you down! This headlamp is great for my early morning runs. It is super bright! Easy to adjust the light, even with thick winter gloves. It doesn’t slide or bounce around. I highly recommend if you are looking for a hands free option for running.

Took this out for my first use last night. Spent about an hour in the dark using it. Super Happy with it! Very light, no bounce or slipping as I run. Had plenty bright of a lamp and the rear red flashers for some road miles was very convenient.
