Lightweight, useful for outdoor time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sun hoodie seems to be really well made, with some nice details. I’m not that fair skinned that i burn instantly, but I also value taking care of my skin and would often rather just cover up than slather sunscreen every couple hours (esp. if I’m at the beach or in a sensitive environment that the sunscreen is harmful for). This sun hoodie has UPF 50 to block UV rays, and a hood for extra protection. It also has insect shield! I’ve never had clothing already treated with permethrin but it’s super convenient and says it will last ~70 washes. It’s not bug season yet so I can’t speak to the effectiveness of this, but I love the idea- I’m always the first target for mosquitos among my friends. The fit of this is “regular” which is fairly loose. This makes it look a bit baggy (I got a small, and I’m usually a small on top, sometimes medium), but I might appreciate this when it’s hot out for a looser fit with more air flow. Otherwise I think it’s less attractive looking, but also I’m not usually wearing sun hoodies to look sexy. This hoodie will be great for hiking and backpacking though, as well as water activities like paddleboarding and kayaking.

In love ❤️
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m totally in love with my Columbia Skien Valley Hoodie—it’s my go-to for fishing and hiking in Oregon’s wild landscapes. The fit is perfect, with a stretchy, comfy feel that lets me move freely whether I’m casting a line in the Deschutes River or hiking the Columbia Gorge. The thumbholes keep the sleeves secure when I’m reaching for a snag or scrambling over rocks, and the snug hood stays put in gusty winds. The insect-repellent tech is a lifesaver, keeping mosquitoes at bay during evening fishing sessions. The UPF 50 shields me from the sun on bright days, and the moisture-wicking fabric dries fast, keeping me comfortable whether I’m sweating up a steep trail or splashing through shallows. It’s held up through months of rough use, still looking great despite mud and brambles. My only gripe is that I sometimes wish it had pockets for small gear like my phone or fishing tools. But that aside, this hoodie is versatile and tough, perfect for fishing, hiking, or chilling by a campfire. If you’re an outdoor woman like me, this hoodie is a must for your adventures.

Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Obsessed with this shirt. I love how it feels and how comfortable it is. It’s pretty loose which I like and I also like how the neck is high and it has a hood. Glad I got a medium.

Lightweight, Protective, and Comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For outdoor activity gear, the Women's Skien Valley™ Hoodie is perfect. The fit is perfect, true to size making it comfortable without feeling bulky, which is perfect for hiking. I love the safari color; it looks just like the photos and adds a nice touch of style to my outdoor wardrobe. The fabric feels lightweight yet durable, and I felt well-protected from the sun thanks to the Omni-Shade™ UPF 50, which gives me peace of mind during long sunny hikes. The hoodie also kept me cool and dry with Omni-Freeze™ and Omni-Wick™ technology, even as I worked up a sweat. The thumbholes are a thoughtful feature, keeping the sleeves in place and providing extra coverage over my hands. Plus, the Insect Shield® technology is a real bonus, no worries about pesky bugs while exploring. Overall, it's a functional, comfortable, and stylish hoodie that’s perfect for hiking and outdoor adventures.

Hoodie
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does run very large. I got an extra small and I’m swimming. 36/27/37. It’s a very lightweight fabric, cool and soft to the touch. It is great for the spring days and some summer nights where you just need some coverage but don’t want anything warm. It is also great to protect against the sun. I love the thumb holes.

Perfect for protecting your skin from the sun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this shirt for hiking. It protects from the sun and is lightweight so you don’t overheat. It’s on the larger side so it has a loose fit. I love the feeling of the material and the pink color. It also has a hood in case you find a sudden rainstorm.

Super nice hoodie for hiking!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric is high quality—soft, lightweight, and super breathable. It’s perfect for layering on cool mornings or wearing on its own for light hikes. It feels durable but still really comfortable. This might be my new go-to hoodie for everyday wear.

Perfectly protective sun shirt!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt provides perfect sun protection! The design was so well thought out with the cut around the neck/hood to really protect you from the harsh summer sun. Love the built-in sun protection!! And the fabric is so easy to wear.
