I've been wearing Glycerin shoes for several years...the most comfortable "walking shoe" around. It's like walking on a pillow but better. I wear them every day. I originally got them for my plantar fasciitis, for which I needed steroid shots, but have not had one reoccurrence since finding the Glycerin style. I've had the 19, 20, 21 and now the 22. My 19s were still in great shape because I rotate them so I donated them to a woman's shelter. The toe box is roomy, so no need for an extra wide, which I would need with any other sports shoe. I only wish that you would make a pretty green color. The size is spot on. The fit is comfortable from day 1.
These run true to size.my shoe size is Women’s 10 in most shoes and my foot is on the wider side. I love the glycerin 21’s but I had to get a women’s 10 1/2 or a men’s 9…. These 22s I got in a women’s 10 and they fit better then my 10 1/2s in the 21s!! So cute too. The cushioning is great but it is much stiffer if that makes sense. Not as squishy as the 21s but these 22s are great still. Very cushy just different then the 21s…. Also these are more aesthetically pleasing and look great in my big size Women’s 10… .If you have big feet you know what I’m talking about lol ..love they put a pull tap on the heel to make it easy to slip on ….. Try them out . They are great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Glycerin 22 is not only a cute shoe, but is very functional. This pair of shoes is my new go to for athletic shoes. They have been a great option for when I am working all day on my feet and for my daily exercise. They have a wider base which took a little getting used to for me, but once I did I have loved everything about the shoe. There is a noticeable difference when I put on the shoes in how I feel. The shoes are very light and they provide great support. I occasionally deal with hip and back pain when exercising and I haven’t noticed any pain when using these shoes. I would definitely recommend these shoes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have previously used a different brand of running shoe, and was even professionally fitted for them. However, there was an immediate difference I noticed when I put on the Gylcerin 22. The fit was perfect. I have a wide foot typically, and though these are not wide sizing, they fit perfectly to my foot. If you have a narrow foot- you may find these too wide for you. My first 2 mile run in the shoes, I did not experience any rubbing and the shoes had a "broken in" feel. In the shoes, I did not experience any pain or fatigue that impacted my performance. They are my new go to!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m always suspicious with new products I try. You never know how it will fit, too narrow or maybe too wide, will it be comfortable?! To my big surprise this pair checked it all. Perfect size fit, I like the design and color. In the future maybe they could produce not to bulky looking shoe, maybe slightly thinner on the sides and I wish for one color shoes, more like neutral so I can wear it even for just daily walks anywhere, because of how incredibly comfortable these are! The fabric is soft and pleasant to wear. I have very tired heels every day because I’m on my feet for the most part. The back of shoe is like a sponge, hope it will last! This is my favorite pair now not only for my daily running routine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These sneakers are the epitome of a marshmallow sole. I have bunions and arthritic feet but I am a runner in spite of this and it is difficult for me to find shoes that work for me however these have been amazing! They cushion your step so you aren’t able to slam so hard on the ground as you run. As I’ve worn these, they do tend to loosen over time and my feet slide frontward pushing my toes to the tip of the shoe but not to the point where I won’t wear them. Thicker socks seem to remedy this for me. They ante also super cute and I’ve gotten a few complements on them already from fellow runners and walkers on my weekend trail. Overall, I’m very happy with these shoes and how they perform on a running trail and I recommend them!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got these running shoes I thought the design was cool and that it would go with my current workout style. My first run in these shoes it was very cold out and my toes started to tingle so I didn’t know if it was the shoes or the fit of the shoes. I’ve seen been running with them in my rotation and the fit and feel are true to size so it must have been the cold weather that made them tingle. I love the color design and the amount of squish you get when you walk in them. They are very comfortable. I wouldn’t change anything about these shoes.
I bought the peacock blue ones which are a great color. A lot of colors offered right now are light and white-ish and I wanted something bold and bright so that's great! Sometimes I get a wide toe box but I didnt have to with these. I used to buy a size 9 and now I buy a 9.5 so I dont need wide toe boxes anymore. The fit is perfect and snug in all the right places with good cushioning and support. I use them as an everyday shoe (I am a personal trainer so I wear them all day doing various activities) and they are perfect! Exactly what I wanted.
Been running in Brooks Glycerins since the Glycerin 12 or 13 (it’s been a long time). Usually I can pull them out of the box, lace them up, and go straight out for a run with no “break in” period, pain, blisters, anything! This model I put on and instantly hated. My feet go numb in them. The shoe feels tighter and stiffer. I don’t like the new foam Brooks is using. If I wanted the foam, I’d buy the Glycerin Max. The look of this shoe is also super goofy compared to previous models. It reminds me of an orthotic shoe. Brooks, please return to the basics on this and give us back the 21s until you figure it out! -A Loyal Brooks Lover
I’ve been exclusively wearing Brooks for a few years now and this time when I ordered, I just can’t seem to find the right fit. I tried the ghost Max, the Glycerine GTS, and now the Glycerine 22. I can’t say any of them are extremely comfortable out of the box, I’m keeping the Glycerine since they have been my go- to in the past, but they just aren’t as cushy as they used to be and my big toe hurts no matter how I tie the laces, by the end of the day, I can’t wait to get them off. I need sneakers so I’m keeping them. Maybe my foot changed ,maybe the sneaker changed, but I need to find a solution. I wish I can order the older ones.
